I rented a newly built townhouse at Hjälmarödsvägen 14D for one week in the summer of 2026. According to the land registry, the property is owned by Bostadsrättsföreningen Vingården 2:9 i Lund. The rental was made at Hometogo.se a partner to Novasol.dk.
Four weeks before arrival, after the stay had been fully paid for, I was contacted by Novasol and informed that the property owner had withdrawn the property from the rental market.
After reviewing Novalsol's terms and conditions, I found that they reserve the right to cancel a booking in such circumstances and simply refund the rent paid.
My experience therefore is that a confirmed and fully paid booking through Hometogo does not necessarily guarantee that the accommodation will actually be available when your holiday begins.
Based on this experience, I personally will not be booking through either Hometogo or their partner Novasol again.

Vi hyrde hus i Köpingsvik, Torparensväg 3 .Vår stuga var ostädad, vi var svarta om fötterna. Toastolen satt lös från golvet, fläkten i köket droppade det fett från , dörrhandtagen satt lösa, myror överallt. Ringde nyckelutlämnaren som kom med rengöringmedel till golvet och myrr.

Han skylde på de tidigare gästerna, men man kollar väl upp att allt är okej innan nästa gäng kommer. Madrasserna var så fläckiga och äckliga. Ni borde verkligen stäppa upp kvaliten på era boenden. Detta var inte okej.

Jag vill gärna ha ett svar på detta och ersättning för allt strul.
