Beware! Your deposit might not get refunded.

I rented from Homeclub for 6 months. Apartment was ok. Above market price for a 1 bedroom but I went ahead since I was new to Madrid on NLV residency and needed an address for Padron.
I went ahead and paid for the month of March even though I told them I was moving. I gave 30 days notice as requested. I have had nothing but excuses on why they can’t send me back my deposit of 3200 euros. They have 4400 of my money but I agreed on a 1200 penalty for moving out ahead of time. I had told them that even though I paid for March they can go ahead and rent it just to be accommodating. It has been 43 days and now they stopped responding to emails or phone calls. I will be at their office with my attorney on Monday to resolve this in person. Tenant beware. You might have a hard time getting your deposit back.

Awful Experience, terrible service

Home Club is nothing short of a fraud in Madrid. They ruined my visit to Madrid for so many reasons. I must say many glorified review of the company are fake or written by their employees + likely paid for to write positive reviews.
I was looking for an apartment in Madrid last minute and finally settled for one that was glorified as a luxury property by their sales rep I met online. She promised it was one of the best properties with all the amenities, location and a fully equipped kitchen etc. When I arrived, I was shocked. The size is small, inaccurate representation of the master bedroom. Unfortunately i am unable to post pics here but available on google.
1 - First, the apartment is nothing like the pictures online. Most of the pictures are taken with cameras that make the property look much bigger than it is and all photoshopped. There is nothing luxury about the apartments. Most of the furniture is purchased likely from Ikea. They look modern, but very uncomfortable furnishings including terrible mattresses, bedding.
2 - The checkin process was horrible and stressful. I did not get complete instructions at first on how to access the apartment. The instructions were incomplete and took 3 days after the check in at the apartment to get the proper codes for home locks. Everything is automated. I requested an agent to let me in....on the day of my arrival, I was greeted by an outside agency agent that doesn't work for the company. She had no knowledge of the apartment, nor walked me through the inventory, or showed me all the features and building amenities.
3 - There are several issues that I highlighted particularly in the master bedroom and bathroom, kitchen. The master bath has mold, major stains on the ceilings and peeled paint from excessive shower moisture since there is no ventilation installed.
4 - Cooling and heating system does not work well.
5 - The kitchen is terribly equipped. There is hardly any utensils, pots and pans to cook with. Only bare necessities. It has made it very difficult to cook anything here.
6 - I have had a horrible experience with their agent. Also their useless Reservation and Help email that you never get a response from. If you send an email to their help email, you get an auto generated email. Their phone number prompts you to enter 1 for Spanish and 2 for English, but after entering 2 for English it keeps repeating the same message and finally drops your call. Point is, you can't get a hold of anyone at this company. I had to walk to their office to get their attention, but even then I have been at my apartment for a week and no response or help provided by their unprofessional staff and guest relations.
7 - None of my issues with the apartment has been resolved including discrepancies with their inventory that is completely inaccurate. I have tried through many emails, phone calls and no response or direct communication that has led to resolving the issues.
Overall, I regret renting from this company. I feel cheated, rented an apartment that is over represented with pictures from other units and poor customer service. Once they receive their money, you will be ignored. I feel that this company is a fraud. Think twice renting from them. If you do, be sure to review all contract documents before you sign anything, review the square meter and exact layout of the apartment or best see the apartment first before renting.
I will be filing a complaint with city of Madrid next.

Servicio muy profesional y personal muy cualificado te atienden con mucha amabilidad y cordialidad sobre todo el Sr. Ricardo Casares que es nuestro Property Manager que es una persona que nos atiende siempre de manera inmejorable lo cuál queremos agradecerle.

NO recomendable, se quedan con tu dinero!

Si planeas rentar con esta gente, primero preparate a pagar el doble. Me han pedido una fianza de 4.200 euros solo por un mes, ademas del alquiler.

Prometen devolvertelo en solo 20 dias, pero la realidad es otra: tendras que pasar meses rogando, llamando y enviando correos sin respuesta. Y cuando finalmente hacen algo, te devuelven solo 1.200 euros, sin avisar, sin explicacion y sin las disculpas por el inconveniente.

Cuando les llamas te repiten lo mismo: que se pondran en contacto contigo pero eso resulta ser una gran mentira.

Breach of contract, health hazard & false promises

I strongly advise against renting from Homeclub.

For over two months, we have reported a serious issue with the toilet. Despite multiple complaints and three repair attempts, the problem remains unresolved. The toilet continuously leaks a foul gas smell into the room, affecting our health and waking us up at night. This is a clear failure to provide a habitable living environment.

The property was also misleadingly advertised, as the actual room does not match what was presented.

Your team acknowledged this and promised a partial refund. First, we were told the money had been transferred. Then we were told the transfer was incomplete. After that, the story kept changing. Even after 90 days, nothing has been properly resolved.

Instead of fixing the issue or honoring your commitments, you are now attempting to evict us while still in breach of your obligations.

All communication and evidence have been documented.

If this matter is not resolved immediately, we will proceed with formal legal action, including claims for breach of contract, misrepresentation, and failure to provide habitable accommodation.

Very disappointing and stressful experience.

I have been staying with Homeclub in Spain for a full year, and the experience has been outstanding. The property was exactly as advertised—high quality and well-maintained. However, what really sets them apart is their customer service. Their support team is incredibly responsive and professional. Any minor issue or question was handled immediately, making my entire stay completely hassle-free. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a premium, reliable living experience in Spain. 5/5 stars.

Incredible Value!

No es ni mucho menos lo que parece

Mi experiencia con esta empresa no ha sido positiva.
Desde la introducción y check in hasta el check out no hemos tenido una atención mínimamente correcta.
Encima, te conminan a dejar una reseña 5*. El colmo de la desfachatez.
Los apartamentos de Doctor Castelo están situados encima de las cocinas de un conocido restaurante de moda.
Huelga decir el ruido y olores que desprende.
La firma vende, - y nosotros compramos y pagamos - , cómo exteriores habitáculos interiores carentes de la más mínima privacidad a izquierda y derecha. Además de falso y punible, desvergonzado.
El check in , en su horario reglado, no se pudo realizar tal y como estaba previamente acordado porque el habitáculo estaba sin limpiar.
Mucho preocuparse por tu timing y modo de llegada y encima arriban a la cita tarde y mal.
El habitáculo , para colmo, apestaba a tabaco cuando llegamos por la noche.
La cama, de1'35, es únicamente accesible por un lado, lo que da una idea de las medidas.
La venta, márquetin, puesta en valor y precio que paga el cliente no se corresponde ni por asomo con el producto recibido.
Habitáculo que parecía nuevo, con el plato de ducha roto y mal reparado, con el agua que se salía.
Para una estancia de 8 días, sólo dispones de un juego de toallas. Servicio Premium.
La cortina se caía.
A mitad de estancia, envían un email solicitando la cancelación de una supuesta deuda inexistente. Todavía esperamos una disculpa.
El día de partida, para dejar las maletas, lo solucionan con una caminata de 40' con 2 maletas hasta su headquarter. !! Olé tú !!
Mucho firmar contratos pero muy poca preocupación real por el cliente.
Localización excelente con calidad y servicio deprimente.

Never stay at HomeClub Madrid

Never stay at Madrid, Spain HomeClub. It was the most horrendous and scary accommodation experience I have ever had. During my stay, my watch and cash were stolen from inside my apartment. There were no signs of forced entry, making it evident that the person who entered has access through the electronic keys issued and managed by HomeClub. Despite this, the staff refused to take any responsibility or provide any meaningful support. This was without exaggeration the worst experience and the worst staff.

todo facil y muy Top.

El apartamento, nuevo y amplio para una o dos personas. Una experiencia genial, me senti muy bien cuidado por la organizacion en especial por Paulina, mi enlace para que pudiera acceder al apartamento. Amable y cercana me hizo todo muy facil y sencillo. E>l apartamento muy limpio nuevo y operativo. un 10 en lo logistico y en atencion.

Apartamento exquisitamente decorado y muy tranquilo. Jorge García de Homeclub estuvo siempre pendiente de que la estancia fuera perfecta, hizo un trabajo estupendo para que fuera una experiencia perfecta, seguro que repetiré en un futuro.
