My wife and I were planning on returning to Vietnam and Malaysia, but wanted to add on a first visit to Laos as well. We had an idea of what we wanted and contacted Holiday Architects to see what help they could offer. Our contact, Erin, was extremely helpful, making suggestions on where we could visit, beyond our initial plans, and what excursions we could take to get the full benefit of our time in each country. She arranged everything so that as we arrived at each airport someone was waiting to take us to our next hotel, that guides turned up to show us round each city, and as we moved on someone came to each hotel to take us to the next airport or train station. Nine flights, eight hotels, one cruise, one high speed train journey all arranged and co-ordinated perfectly. We had a great holiday, saw lots of interesting things, fed elephants, ate too much ourselves, and had the time of our lives. Thanks very much Erin and Holiday Architects. We wholeheartedly recommend you and the company to other travellers who want a great holiday experience.

Fenton really listened to what we wanted to see in Vietnam and what we didn't want to spend too much time on, so our personalised itinerary really did tick all our boxes. We felt royally looked after all the way, seemed to have the best seats/spots/timings etc, the hotels were fabulous and we loved all our activities and tours. The guides and drivers were great too, very accommodating and easy to get on with, the local guides were fab too.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fenton and Holiday Architects and will certainly be using them again.

Ian organised a short trip to Jordan. Had a fabulous time visiting Petra and The Dead Sea.
I was helped as soon as I arrived at the airport, getting through customs and taken to my driver who was great company, I never felt rushed whenever I was picked up and always given plenty of time everywhere we visited.
Great care has been given to ensure you got a decent service, good driver, decent car which also had WiFi.
My guide at Petra was brilliant, very knowledgeable and also a very imaginative photographer.
The choice of hotels didn’t disappoint, one right next to Petra and the other had its own private part of the Dead Sea.
Where a lot of travel companies forget about you once you return back, I received an email asking about my trip. Not only shows that they care about your experience but it gives them an opportunity to improve if anything wasn’t satisfactory.
Happy to use them again.

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday to Cambodia. Lisa was brilliant and organised everything for us, we stayed in four different hotels and they were all perfect. The in resort guides and drivers were so friendly and full of information.I would highly recommend holiday architects and will be booking wirh them again. As for Cambodia we all fell in love a magical place with the friendliest people.

Absolutely scam of a company. DO NOT TRUST. THEY WILL ROB YOU OF YOUR MONEY AND THEN SAY THEY CANT REFUND YOUR OWN MONEY.

Never been on a holiday which included various hotels and accommodations before.
Discussed various options and ideas with Dawn and she made up a suggested itinerary.
We amended it a couple of times and at one point i was going to cancel one of the trips but she persuaded me otherwise and i am glad she did.
Everything went like clockwork and every accommodation had its own unique charm and quality.
All drivers arrived at least 15 minutes before time which saves all stress.
Costa Rica an amazing place and even the drives between places were entertaining,imformative and beautiful.
Thankyou Dawn ,one of my top 3 holidays in my life and the best with just my wife.

Trip To South Africa

A friend suggested speaking to Holiday Architects to help organise our trip to South Africa. We were put in touch with Catherine Williams who, very quickly, understood what we wanted from the trip and put together what turned out to be an ideal package for us. All the boutique hotels booked for us were superb as were the timescales in each area and the suggestions about activities and restaurants. We will certainly choose them again.

She really listened to what I liked and wanted and tailored my holiday accordingly. And whilst there when I had a change of plan she went the extra mile to accommodate a detour

Our expectations were exceeded on this amazing trip around Costa Rica. Louise listened to what was important and customised our itinerary to include wonderful hotels/lodges in a number of fabulous locations. Expert guides introduced us to the stunning wildlife and we saw so much up close. Add to that dazzling scenery and such friendly people, it was another perfect holiday organised by Holiday Architects.

I had a fantastic holiday in Japan. It wasn’t cheap but the itinerary put together by Fenton was well thought out with every detail covered and I enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended.

Fenton and the team at HA organised an excellent holiday in Vietnam for us. They listened to our ideas and gave helpful and informative advice in shaping our itinerary. We have just returned from a holiday to Sri Lanka & The Maldives. Dawn organised the trip for us which met all our expectation. The Hotels were perfect for us and the tour of Sri Lanka (despite the weather) was brilliant. Our Chauffer/Guide Ushan was so knowledgeable about his country, he was kind and helpful. We were apprehensive about having a guide but Ushan felt more like travelling with a friend.

This was our first trip to Japan, but my third trip organised by Holiday Architects. Fenton, the Japan specialist, was such a help right from the first time we spoke to him, listening to the sort of things we are interested in and enjoy doing, plus giving honest advice if he didn't think something was worth including in our trip. He also suggested wonderful places and activities that we would never have thought of including, such as guided cycling and hiking trips and a couple of days in Kurashiki, which was a beautiful small canal-side town. His advice on the best time to travel for the autumn colours was also spot on. Holiday Architects will adjust the itinerary until you are happy with it, and the transfers, guides and hotels were all extremely good and totally reliable. Fenton was also excellent at responding to any queries or questions we had, both before and during our trip. The self guide app and pocket Wi-Fi device supplied by Holiday Architects is also fantastic, and made finding our way around Japan so much easier than we had expected. A big thank you to Fenton and Holiday Architects for planning a trip that definitely exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to planning our next holiday with this wonderful company.

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Japan, planned with expert help from Fenton. Having explained the kind of accommodations we prefer, activities we enjoy and outlined some of the places we might like to visit Fenton prepared an initial proposal for us which we then refined over a couple more conversations. Our final itinerary was perfect, Fenton found a great flight deal for us and even predicted the weather correctly ! There had been one glitch with accommodation which Fenton resolved for us immediately when we alerted him. Great job, thanks Fenton.

Holiday Architect’s Argentinian specialist ( I wish we could mention names!) was great at helping us develop an itinerary which met the differing requirements of all 4 of us. Iguaza was fantastic, Salta and Cafayate even better. We enjoyed the contrast of Buenos Aires and experiencing the different neighbourhoods - Recoleta and Boca notably. Loved the House of Jasmines hotel in Salta and the Palladio in Buenos Aires. Would have loved to stay in Argentina longer - a wonderful country and the people so friendly and welcoming.
We had a dismal experience with Iberia who failed to deliver our bags for a week ( and we were Business class - what hope for others?) but the support from the agents on the ground was fantastic. A particular thank you to the agent who led on helping us and our guide in Iguaza. They managed to mitigate the worst effects of extreme incompetence and lack of care from Iberia.

Just got back from an amazing holiday in Japan, organised through Holiday Architects and their Japan specialist, Fenton.

This was our second holiday organised through Holiday Architects after Namibia in 2024, and the company work really hard to listen to your initial wishes for your holiday (even when these are very vague!) and then provide a tailored itinerary based on their experience. For us as first time visitors to Japan, it was a perfect balance of different places and activities, with lots of time for us to explore independently.

I'm sure there is a huge amount of planning and organisation that goes into building the intineraries and responding to customer queries and adjustments but Holiday Architects make it seem really seamless.

We wouldn't hesitate to use Holiday Architects again and hope to be back soon planning another wonderful holiday.

Kirsty organised a special family holiday for us to South Africa and couldn’t have been more helpful and thorough with travel tips, driving directions and suggestions of what to do (and pack!). The places we stayed in were all lovely for different reasons and she planned a great mix of relaxation, activity and safari as the final highlight. All the arrangements went smoothly and we felt well-supported throughout - love the HA app! This was a bigger trip than we’ve done for years and we were in really good hands with Kirsty - she knows her stuff and she put care and thought into tailoring the holiday to our preferences and budget. We’d happily use HA again!

What a wonderful adventure in Japan! Big thanks to Fenton and the team for a tailor made two week trip, taking in Tokyo, Kanazawa, Hiroshima, Himeji, Kinosaki Onsen and Kyoto.

Train and bus tickets were awaiting us on arrival at Tokyo, airport transfers organised, and some great excursions and guides all booked in (a traditional tea ceremony, a zen meditation with an 83 year old Buddhist monk, a sumo exhibition match - with the chance to wrestle a retired sumo wrestler(!), four walking tours, a wonderful cycling tour of Kyoto’s quiet back streets, a boat trip to the beautiful Miyajima island to see the floating torii gate and friendly sika deer, and a full day trip out to view Mount Fuji and the five lakes.

A helpful WiFi device to use throughout the trip and handy advice before we set off re luggage forwarding, the trains, and English biscuits as gifts for our guides, in lieu of tips!

Just the right amount of hand holding whilst still ensuring we could travel independently and not be part of some big coach trip type group.

We made some wonderful core family memories and would highly recommend the team at Holiday Architects!

We’ve just returned from an unforgettable two-week trip to Costa Rica, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Every hotel we stayed in was absolutely perfect—comfortable, clean, and located in the most beautiful surroundings. The transfers were smooth and hassle-free, which made traveling between destinations so easy.
We were blown away by the wildlife we encountered along the way—toucans, monkeys, sloths, and so much more. Everywhere we went, the people were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the trip feel even more special.

This was our first time using Holiday Architects and Catherine organised our trip to Oman. We found her to be very knowledgeable and helpful and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Catherine designed a flexible programme as well as giving plenty of advice on the country and its customs. We absolutely loved Oman and could not have organised such a great trip ourselves.
