Each MOD 1 compensator comes equipped with a rail mount for attaching lights or lasers and a delete plate for a minimalistic aesthetic. HK Parts compensators are CNC machined in the US from billet aluminum and cerakoted for a sleek, enduring finish. From our experience with the CC9 and MOD 1 comp, we recommend breaking in the recoil spring with 200+ rounds prior to installing the comp.  Alternatively, the slide can also be locked back and left for 2-3 days to acheive a similar break-in of the recoil spring.

A bit overpriced. Superb quality. The compensator itself does very little. It should have been about a half inch longer. I've heard others call it a "nonpensator" Esthetically pleasing to look at.

Almost impossible to find a holster that you can carry the cc9 once you add the compensator and beyond impossible if you add a flashlight to it as I did but it’s flawless at the range and so sexy

Works incredibly well, I have shot all grain wieghts after leaving my slide back for 2 days like they suggested runs reliably, love it!

Set screw is too long and forces the compensator to flex down an about 3mm and rub into the polymer gun frame. You can’t run the gun without it unfortunately. I’m going to shave it down so it will fit flat but this is an obvious design flaw.
