The pharmacists at Hive are wonderful.....
They have helped me so much to obtain the drug Buproprion, which hasnt been available since Dec 2022.
Inspite of numerous issues in obtaining the correct prescription from my GP, they have been kind enough to liase with the Doctors on my behalf.

The service is fantastic - I am so glad I found Hive.....

I cannot fault Hive Pharmacy. They are always respond very quickly to my messages and they have provided with the correct medication by return of post. Friendly, reliable, speedy service that I would definitely recommend.

I used Hive because they stated on their website that the Libre 2 sensor would be subject to next day delivery. I could have paid less with another company, but was waiting on a call from our Community Diabetic Team to ascertain if they would replace my sensor at no cost. When that call did not come in, I ordered from Hive on the Tuesday evening, anticipating having the product by Thursday. When it did not arrive, I emailed, but received no response. I have just phoned (Friday morning), to be told it was only collected and sent yesterday, so should arrive today...there was no explanation for the delay. Whether I need to start taking insulin or not is being based on the readings I am collecting, so I am disappointed, and out of pocket when I could have got it elsewhere, as quickly, cheaper.

Everytime I visit the pharmacy my visit is very successfull.
Great service all the time.
My mother's dosset boxes are ready to be picked up well before the due date and the credit goes to the young lady called Dirkey.
Overall I find all the staff very polite and helpfull. Keep up the good work girls.

My wife needed a particular medication that is on repeat prescription, Unfortunately it was not available from our usual pharmacy and in fact many of the other local pharmacies. Without the medication she would have had serious medical problems.
Found Hive Pharmacy through a google search. They managed to order the medication from abroad and deliver within 3 days. Initially there was a bit of co-ordination required between the pharmacy, myself and the GP surgery to ensure the wording on the prescription was correct. Overall, excellent service, first time we used this pharmacy which is out of the way for us but they still saved the day for my wife.

I ordered zyban on their website. The system let me go through the process and pay.

I received an email the day after stating that I needed a prescription. I explained that I cannot get 1 and the website should never have let me complete to payment if this was the case.

They never answered 2 e mails sent to them regarding this. I phoned up and asked for my money back.

They have refunded me 70 gbp but I paid 75 gbp. They said its because I never gave them a prescription!!!!,

So they have stolen 5 gbp when nothing on the website states that I required one or there is a charge for not providing one. I will be going through my bank to reclaim this money. Its a principle.

Really great helped with getting a pretty impossible to source drug with my nhs prescription. Guided me through a few hiccups and contacted if there was an issue. Really great service from the pharmacist!

I am on bupropion and it’s not in stock in the UK right now. Hive have been the only pharmacy to be able to source this for me and the only pharmacy that seemed keen to help me. Even my psychiatrist wrote down the details of the pharmacy as he couldn’t believe they had sourced a drug that other patients just couldn’t get. Thanku Hive

I was prescribed a drug by my GP that I could not get locally and was difficult to find on line.. I found the Hive website and they said they could supply it. The process was so easy. Send picture of prescription to confirm availability.. send prescription in post and they sent the drug back immediately. It wa so easy I will use them again and recommend them too. Friendly, responsive and helpful staff.

I have had an overwhelmingly positive experience with this pharmacy. I needed a medication that's out of stock nationally and they were able to order it in to fill my NHS prescription with relative ease. They were communicative via WhatsApp and also offer a postal service so all really convenient. Not sure why there are some negative reviews, but thankfully my experience has been great.

I've never had any problems with Hive, and without them literally could not source the prescription medication I need to have any quality of life (Bupropion, which is now unavailable in the majority of pharmacies). The process is cumbersome, but I suspect not their fault, and for this reason they do offer a WhatsApp service so you can check paper prescriptions with them before sending them through via post. The whole NHS system is ridiculous - certain words, paper copies, postage etc - but Hive really do their best with the system them have to work within. Their turnaround time is very fast and they've always been helpful on the phone and via WhatsApp. Without them I have no idea what I'd do :)

Hassle free and quick service. Supply problems left me struggling to find anywhere to get my medication in the UK and Hive truly saved me from having to go without. Will continue using them in the future as it is so convenient to have my medication delivered and the team are so helpful. Thank you Hive!

This organisation specialises in hard to obtain medications and I understand has a contract with NHS England to source them. I take such a medication, which I have now sourced from Hive on two occasions.
There is an incredibly convoluted bureaucratic process involving your GP posting a paper prescription with a specific form of words on it. This is not outlined on the website and indeed the website has a different specific form of words (and doesn't say it has to be a paper prescription). I complained about this the first time and they said they would address it, which they didn't.
I have generally found their staff rude and unhelpful, and that's when they're responsive at all. On the second occasion they initially rejected the prescription (despite it complying with the requirements on their website) and my Dr had to send another - they then blanked me for two weeks causing me to run out of medication at significant risk to my life and health. Their response to my complaint was rude and dismissive.
I will not be using them again and have had to switch to a different medication. Some of their pharmacists really should be struck off, but sadly the NHS and GPC complaints processes are also entirely ineffective.
If you really need a hard to source medication, this place may be your least worst option. But they are unreliable, unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with, so avoid them if you possibly can.
