Can't give any stars to this company, but had to write the review and choose 1 star. It's a cheap, low-budget air company, and the service is just like the money you pay. Unprofessional staff, ALL mean young arrogant people, horrible food - we paid extra for Kosher and received the worst food. Overall, the experience was a nightmare, and I'd never recommend it to anyone. Stay away from them!

Der Check-in bei HiSky war sehr schwierig und unübersichtlich. Zunächst wurden 0,79 € von meiner Karte abgebucht, was bereits merkwürdig war. Vier Tage später wurde dann versucht, zusätzlich rund 100 € von meiner Karte abzubuchen – ohne eine klare Erklärung. Diesen Vorgang habe ich selbstverständlich abgelehnt.
Dieses Verhalten wirkt auf mich sehr unseriös und ist nicht vertrauenswürdig. Ich bin äußerst unzufrieden und würde diese Airline nicht weiterempfehlen.
Absolutely terrible experience with…
Absolutely terrible experience with HiSky airline. Their customer service is beyond useless — completely rigid, unhelpful, and frankly unreasonable. We provided an official divorce certificate to correct a family name on a ticket, something that should be basic common sense to handle, yet they flat-out refused to help.
Mistakes like this happen all the time, and any competent airline would understand that. Instead, HiSky chose to hide behind pointless rules and offer zero real support. To make things worse, they demanded a fee that was MORE THAN DOUBLE the original ticket price just to fix it — which is completely outrageous and feels like nothing more than a cash grab.
No empathy, no flexibility, no logic. Just a frustrating and unfair experience from start to finish. Avoid this airline if you value your time, money, and sanity.
Careless Personal
Cabin Bag check. I flight with my cabin bag for 2 years already never airport stuff push my to check the size. It’s obvious it’s fitting . They just pushed me to check and scratch my leather bag bcos of missing fixings one the check station.
I will trust most of the negative reviews!
Incompetent personal
The personal is useless, i had three people in front of me that expanded their seat at maximum and left me with little space and 0 confort, i ask the if they could lift their seat but thei refused. Than i asked the personal and they let them be just because they were scared of them because they were loud and rude. And when i asked to change my seat they the personal refused again. I stayed there 4 hours with 10 cm of breathing space

The airplanes are very old and poorly maintained. My seat was damaged/broken, which made it uncomfortable to sit properly during the flight. Not to mention that cleanliness was also lacking.
I have no complaints about the staff — they were fine.

We were supposed to depart Cluj at 21:30 on Friday evening, HiSky left us waiting till 23:30 , no information, no announcements, no customer service, we finally departed at midnight. They are an ass hat of an airline. Avoid , pick another route.
I had an extremely disappointing…
I had an extremely disappointing experience with HiSky Airlines. Our flight was delayed for over 10 hours, and throughout this entire time there was almost no communication or proper information provided to passengers. Traveling with children made the situation even more stressful, especially being stuck at the airport for such a long period without clear updates.
To make matters worse, our luggage arrived damaged, and despite the long delay and the inconvenience caused, no compensation or proper assistance was offered. The customer service was very poor, and the overall organization seemed completely unprofessional.
After 10 hours of waiting with kids, we expected at least basic support, clear communication, and some level of responsibility from the airline — but we received none.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend HiSky Airlines.

I took a flight from Dublin to Iasi and one flight attendant called Daniel decided to block the front toilet-opened it only at my requests. He was behaving as he owns the plane. Very, very, very poor customer service. If you have an alternative option, avoid this company.
Great customer support
Our flight was cancelled due to reasons beyond our control, and we were informed by email. I called the hotline, and Eva handled the situation quickly and professionally. She efficiently helped us reschedule our booking for another date without any complications.

Denied Boarding
I was on a direct flight from Dublin to Cluj with hisky on the 25 of January 2026. The first thing I noticed was that there was only one man there who was checking in passengers at the gate and allowing them to proceed to the aircraft. When he saw me standing in the queue and I was alone in line, he said, “We’re waiting for you,” and I replied, “If you could wait,” because I was looking for my passport to present it.
This was my first observation regarding this individual — this is not a polite way to speak to someone who is using these services. During the 10 minutes that I stood there and interacted with this individual, a family arrived afterward, so there was really no reason for me to rush or to be spoken to like that. The gate was not closed, and it was not the final call.
When I reached this individual, he looked at my bag three times and said that I had to pay because the bag was too large and I had a basic ticket. The first time, I said okay, I will pay, no problem. After that, I noticed that on their table they had baggage dimensions displayed and that if the bag is up to 8 kilograms, it is free. I told him that they did not have a scale to weigh my bag and that my bag did not weigh 8 kilograms. I have a video to prove they didn’t have a weight scale nor a meter to measure my bag, I took this video after the incident.
After that, this individual stepped aside and his colleague came over and wanted me to make the payment. I explained that I did not understand why I had to pay, since my bag did not weigh 8 kilograms. She then said that I had to pay because I also had a handbag. A handbag is a handbag; anyone is allowed to have a handbag. My bag did not weigh 8 kilograms.
After several discussions, this colleague of the first individual at the gate began telling me to pay and to “shut up.” During all this time, I was simply trying to understand why I had to pay, because I have almost always had the same type of ticket with this company and I was never asked to pay before, never until now, and I always traveled the same way. I even checked this with one of their colleagues in this company on the phone and confirmed to me that there were times when I had basic ticket with the company and I didn’t pay for a baggage. First of all, how can a woman — because she cannot be called a lady — who works for an airline tell a passenger to shut up and make the payment? We live in free countries with freedom of speech, and we are allowed to speak as much as we want, and I explained this to her as well.
I told her about ten times that I would pay for the bag, yet she kept asking me if I was going to pay and telling me to shut up. I made the payment and told these employees that they were being racist toward me. After that, the first individual returned and said that I had to apologize for calling them racist, otherwise he would refuse me boarding. I apologized, and even after that, he still refused me access to the flight on the grounds that my apology was not sincere.
This was before they called a third individual to assist them — an older man — who told me that “he hates being called racist,” even though I had not said anything to him. He also told me to “go back to Romania and call whoever you want racist.” If this is not proof of racism, I do not know what is.
I also had discussions with this older individual and asked for my money back for the baggage that I paid for at the gate. He said he would give it back, then refused on the grounds of my behavior — even though, compared to theirs, my behavior was nothing. I only said that they were racist, which is proven by the way they spoke to me.
They barely wanted to give me the receipt so I could take a photo, and afterward the older individual took it from me, which he was not allowed to do because that receipt belonged to me it clearly says on the receipts client copy this old man took this receipt and put it in his pocket this is private information for me only he was not allowed to take this.
Lastly, I want to express my dissatisfaction — and that is an understatement — with the indifference of these employees and the disgusting way they spoke to me. I have used this airline since it began operating in Dublin, and I want to tell you that not only will I never use this services again, but I will also tell everyone about the way these employees behaved. More information I gathered from the company after speaking to them on the phone is that no investigation will be carried out as this first individual who approached me filed a report as well where he failed to mention that I did apologise and he refused my boarding based on my apology was not sincere. There was cameras there which show exactly what happened. Today after I spoke to the company’s customer services on the phone my email with my booking and check in disappeared from my emails. Pretty sure whatever they done is illegal. I will take this matter further.
DO NOT Trust HiSky Airline
HiSky is an absolutely horrible, heartless company that could not care less about it's passengers. I pre-paid for my families flights 6 months ago. Then, a few weeks before our flight they sent an impersonal "Dear Passenger" email informing us that the flight was cancelled. The only alternative that they offered after that date was a flight exactly 2 weeks later. No apology. No explanation. When I went to rebook with another airline I found that the cost had gone up so I emailed HiSky to ask for compensation and for a quick refund so that I could free up space on my credit card HiSky said No compensation. No refund for a month and a half (30+ business days). No apology. No explanation. And now this 3rd rate airline won't even respond to my customer service emails.
My only question for HiSky is:
ARE YOU CANCELING FLIGHTS THAT ARE NOT BOOKED SOLID AND ARE YOU REFUSING TO GIVE COMPENSATION OR TIMELY REFUNDS OUT OF PURE GREED....OR IS HISKY IN DEEP FINANCIAL TROUBLE? Either scenario means that it is very financially risky to fly HiSky. BTW, I am still waiting for my refund from HiSky and will keep Trust Pilot Posted.
