Finally got an offer after 5 months 😭
Got laid off in February and genuinely thought I would have something within a month or two. Nope lol.
I probably applied to 300+ jobs between LinkedIn, Indeed and company websites. I was getting some interviews but nowhere near what I expected based on my experience (6 years in marketing).
Found HiringCafe maybe 2 months ago from someone mentioning it on Reddit. The biggest difference for me was honestly just finding jobs I hadn't already seen 50 times on LinkedIn. I started filtering for jobs posted in the last 24 hours and applying every morning before work.
Ended up interviewing with 4 companies I found through HC. Made it to the final round at 2 and JUST SIGNED AN OFFER for one of them today!!!
It's hybrid instead of remote which I originally wanted, but it's a 17% raise from my previous job and the team seems genuinely great. At this point I'm just incredibly relieved.
No magic advice unfortunately. I changed my resume approximately 900 times and have no idea whether any of that mattered 😂
But if you're still searching, keep going. I was completely convinced nothing was going to work out like two weeks ago.
And thank you HiringCafe. Seriously. ❤️
