The incorrect size of tubing was replaced by Hilltop Products with the right size, and the company did so quite promptly.

Hilltop went above and beyond to put my order together and ship it to Australia. I bought silver/grey cable sleeving which is great quality. They even threw in a heat gun. Top marks and will definitely be ordering again some time down the track. A+

I was looking for a strong banding tool that I could use to keep the claws on my pet lobster shut while I cleaned him and his tank. I used to put him in the bath while I scrubbed away on his tank but my mother in law (who is quite visually impaired) almost got in the bath with him. I was disappointed she didn't. Anyway, my wife decided I had to mate Leopolds' pincers safer for everyone and I found these. Little Leo is now outside playing in the paddling pool with my 2 years old daughter and we all couldn't be happier.

Needed a specialist heat shrink product that I couldn’t get elsewhere or couldn’t get without a 2/3 day waiting time.
Visited the Hilltop Products branch who advised me not only on the right products to purchase but also showed me how the product would suit my specific needs.
The staff there went above and beyond allowing me to purchase the items with less than 45 mins.
All the staff I dealt with were a credit to the company.
Special mention for Amy who seamlessly guided me through the process.
I’d highly recommend this company and would hesitate to recommend, as I’ll definitely be using this company again.

I have a ford Ranger and wanted to fit myself a strut on tailgate, I was having trouble removing bolt at home so decided to drive to Hilltop garage for help. They removed bolt very quickly and never changed me. We also take our cars for MOT and always happy with customer service. This is an honest feedback, mr Bedford

Horrible greedy lot.
Messed me about for weeks, if you need a sample of tubing before buying 100m or so, the old trout will tell you your low on their list of priorities. Even tho the fella says no problem time and time again. They deserve to go bust!

I was pretty disappointed with the service I received from Hilltop. I had a window of 5 days before I needed the item I ordered so ordered on the 48 hr delivery service (2 days were weekend days but still plenty of time to receive it on a 48hr delivery)

I fully appreciate that a company can’t be 100% certain of a carriers delivery timescales but they were extremely flippant saying that 48 hours was a goal not a promise and asking me to allow 2 weeks for delivery. They then ignored all my emails until the day it was delivered, to tell me it “had” in fact been finally delivered!

Disappointing customer service when they could have stepped up and easily received a phenomenal review if they had responded to my combination of calls and emails.

Was pleased when the company had the products available that I was looking for, only when delivered they were all the wrong size (I checked my order and definitely ordered the correct size).
Having emailed to resolve the issue there was a slight delay in response but someone eventually called to apologise and explain.
A replacement product was then sent with next day delivery. I was grateful this could be resolved.

My review might change depending on how Hilltop deal with my complaint about returning an item we purchased that was not fit for the purpose. They are telling me they will refund but only after they've deducted a myriad of fees and charges including the postage we paid when ordering the item initially, some admin fees and some restocking fees and a replacement blade which they've tested out themselves. So telling us it's a used blade when they've used it themselves won't cut it with me (no pun intended).
The fees are excessive in my opinion. They took over a week to come back to me after initially acknowledging our request to return the item and explaining that you are short staffed and that was only after I called them to find out why nobody was responding to us.
We got excuses of lack of staff etc. That's not really my concern to be honest.
Your website does not state the extent of the charges that could be applied if we returned an item to you. This is not transparent enough in my opinion and should be clearer.
You have no policy on complaints on your website so I have emailed via your website to ask how to lodge a formal complaint.
This is greed at its very best in my opinion and we are basically being told that our experience with the tool we ordered isn't true because you can make it work. I hope to hear back from Hilltop in response to my contact us form to discuss the complaint overall

appalling customer service.
Appalling company.
Paid for item to be delivered within a certain period, it arrived very late so was obsolete. They would not refund the delivery charge or accept a return.
Read their reviews before purchasing from them.
Lots of complaints.
I’m not interested in a response from Hill Tops as they made it very clear they were not going to help.
If they respond now it’s only to wriggle out of a bad review.
