We’ve been using Hikaflow mainly for its impact analysis after merges. It tells us exactly which parts of the app are likely affected by a PR, which helps us cut down the number of test cases we need to run.

Before this, we were guessing a lot and often over-testing or missing edge cases. Now we can just look at the flagged areas and focus QA on what actually matters. It’s sped things up and reduced our post-release issues noticeably.

Still keeping an eye on how accurate it stays as we add more complexity, but so far it’s been a solid addition to our release process.

We started using Hikaflow because we work with a mix of in-house and outsourced developers, and it was hard to keep visibility on what was being written across different repos.

The tool’s been useful for keeping everything in one place. It gives us automated feedback on code quality and helps surface risks early, which saves us from chasing down issues later. The part I found most valuable was the onboarding help. We brought in two new devs recently, and Hikaflow made it easier for them to understand how everything fits together without having someone walk them through the codebase line-by-line.

Not a magic bullet, but a pretty practical tool if you're juggling multiple contributors or teams.

Hikaflow ended up being way more helpful than expected. We mainly started using it to reduce our PR review bottlenecks (we have a small dev team, so reviews would sit for a day or more).

The other main thing has been onboarding. We brought on a junior dev last month, and because the AI assistant has the codebase in its context, he was able to ask architecture questions, which definitely onboarded him faster.
