Worked OK for a bit then just stopped recording. The support bot just gives a massive 'to do' list when literally nothing changed between one recording that was fine and the next, from the same Kajabi app, that won't record / transcribe and hasn't since. I'm out

It was good while it lasted. Now they decided, it would be a great move to make most models chargeable, instead of just the few top models, without any communication beforehand.

While the reason is assumed, the effect is obvious.

This software is phenomenal and provides free access to a lot of paid ai models with additionally versatile utility. A lot of bad reviews are outdated or created by people that did not thoroughly explore the capabilities of the application. Try it for yourself.

Not a virus but you have to close the app through task manager then delete all the files completely

I found the app really useful and it helped speed up my manuscript writing, the fact that it can remember some facts about you is also very helpful and saves time. I decided to upgrade to pro for an even better experience. Unfortunately my experience remained the same, I wasn't able to experience any of the pro advantages. Maybe someone could help explain this dilemma.

Пользуюсь Highlight AI уже давно и очень довольна. Особенно радует, что даже на подписке Plus в ChatGPT есть лимиты на GPT-4o, а здесь доступ к этой модели бесплатный и без ограничений! Плюс есть новая Claude Sonnet 3.7 — она код пишет без ошибок, может с нуля создать приложение. Увидела обвинения в скаме и стало аж обидно, мой опыт полностью положительный.

First thing i see after the installation is "9.99 for 50 uses per month and 99.99/month for unlimited use".

Seriously - i'm always glad to pay for the good product. And Highlight AI seems to be promising. But such misinformation on the main page is definitely a red flag.

If the startup can't be trusted in financial question - how can it be trusted with full access to desktop, mail, calendar and all data possible.

Saves time copying and pasting! It really makes taking screenshots without closing the window simple, then I have a bunch of tools available to analyze, explain, exactly what's on the screen. It is smart, and I look forward to learning all the plugins that can be added to increase its usefulness. I use the youtube plugin to summarize videos, if a transcript is made available, and I used it when troubleshooting a Virtual Machine running Linux on my Windows PC. I'm sure a power user would really enjoy the features, as it ties in all the major LLM chatbots *not all are free* and that is the first app I've used where it works well. This is a highly polished app, and it is powerful. I hope to learn all the tricks and tips!

Keeping it short, same case as the other 2. Uninstalled but the app still on my device.

First it seemed legit and a useful AI tool for PC. But it didnt go off my screen when I closed the program and I suspected that if I do anything on my screen it could copy my passwords, bank details, etc.

Then I tried to uninstall. My pc said it had uninstalled it but I started to get an error message each time I started my pc that Highlight AI is trying to do something on my pc and didnt find the right files to do the "something". I located the files and it didnt allow me to delete them.

(I had already uninstalled the app, why were there still files trying to do something on my pc?)

I went to task manager and saw that 6 Highlight AI tasks/apps are running. I ended the tasks and then it allowed me to delete the files from the folder.

Now I don't get anymore error messages, but I would not trust this app.

Beware about downloading this on your PC/Mac... I uninstalled the program yet it is still on my screen. I even restarted the computer and I can even click on it.. and guess what? It OPENS as if it's STILL on my PC somewhere.... That's a privacy violation if it's still on my PC and looking at my screens, text, clipboard, etc.
