I possible did not read the small print but the coin was much smaller than I had envisaged and coming in a pack with blank holes to buy future coins was not what I expected

Just received the queen Elizabeth 11 birth centenary gold 100th sovereign. It's that small I will have to buy a magnifying glass. Please do not buy.

This piece was advertised as a 1/100th Sovereign, meaning it is a very small gold coin by design. Coins of this nature are produced as miniature collectible pieces, and their appeal is not based on size alone, but also on the subject, finish, limited nature and presentation of the collection.

It is also one of our most popular 24-carat gold coins, with many collectors valuing it for its tribute to Queen Elizabeth II and its collectability.

I ordered and as the months went on I wished I hadn’t bothered

I ordered two coins at the beginning of the year arrived okay no problems there I paid the first few installments on the coins no problems. The third installment hadn’t been applied to the account so I paid the third and fourth payments together. Emailed to explain that my bank statement shows I have paid. They replied and said now accredited to the account so that should mean I am a month ahead. Ah no think again the fifth installment I paid by cheque for both coins and guess what when the final installment is due I find that i still owe for the fifth and sixth installments on both coins. Which when you ring them to query the account they tell you that the invoice is correct. Now in my mind I have paid extra on the one coin by two installments and an extra installment on the second coin when they were 6 installments.
After this experience I would not recommend heritage coins nor would I buy from them in the future

I didn't realise the coin I bought would be so tiny on tv it looked normal size I paid 42 pound with postage really not worth that kind of money very disappointed it should say that on the tv what you see is not what you get

That said, the coin you received is an extremely special 24ct gold special denomination sovereign, created to mark the 100th birthday year of Queen Elizabeth II. While it may be small in size, it carries significant collectible appeal due to its gold content, limited nature and the importance of the occasion it commemorates.

Do NOT BUY FROM THIS OR ITS ASSOCIATED COMPANY

When you write a review you are asked ‘what can this company do to improve things’. Oh I have several suggestions but Trustpilot would not permit them.

On 14/05/26 I received notification that an almost £1000 (cost to me) set of coins were on their way. As soon as they arrived I started the returns procedure. The reason, I’m guessing that the scrap value of the gold would not be far from £100.

Since then there has been a cat and mouse game with this company. At first I decided they were probably inept. I now know they are inept. Their website is broken and when you eventually get them to answer the phone you are given a load of bull about the delays are due to them changing computer systems. That excuse has worn a hole in reality.

So, having cancelled the account I was eventually told they would refund all the money I had already paid them. Well here we are more than a month later and I still do not have my money. In their initial email the following statement can be found

We offer an unconditional no-quibble money-back guarantee on nearly all of our products.

That of course is not true. The first thing they tried to do on the phone was talk me out of returning the coins.

Some time ago I eventually received an email from them stating they were going to refund me by way of a cheque, that was weeks ago of course. It hasn’t arrived. But guess what did arrive…..a demand for a second payment of more than £160.

Now that really is inept / incompetent/ deliberately dragging their feet / obstructive, take your pick.

We would like to clarify that this coin contains 1/100 of a troy ounce of 24ct gold. With the current price of gold, the pure gold content alone is worth far more than £8.75 in today’s market.

However, we do not sell coins on gold value alone, as pieces like this carry additional collectable value. The overall value also reflects the limited mintage, the subject matter, the design, the presentation and the packaging.

This particular Queen Elizabeth II gold coin has been one of our best-selling coins, which shows the strong level of interest from collectors.

We do understand that collectable coins may not be for everyone, and resale values can vary depending on market demand. However, we always aim to offer well-presented, collectable pieces that our customers can enjoy as part of their collection.

Absolutely horrific doing business with…

Absolutely horrific doing business with this company. I purchased a single coin which they still have not delivered (5 weeks. Cannot contact them via email as their server keeps sending it back and when I finally got to number 0 in the queue they hung up the phone. They have set up a recurring payment on my credit card which I did not authorise and now it seems I cannot contact them to ensure they do not take further payments. I would avoid this company.

Extremely Poor Service…

I reviewed Heritage on the 21st of May regarding my experience and ended it with waiting for my refund.

My return tracking shows Heritage received the item back on the 21st May, so why am I still waiting for a refund on the 4th of June?
When you place an order the money is taken immediately, yet when you return their policy is 14 days and they STILL FAIL in that timescale!

14 days and no refund!
Not the way to encourage customers to return, and i won't!

Nightmare website.

This company are a nightmare to contact. It's impossible to actually speak to someone on customer services that don't actually exist in real terms. I've tried 4 different numbers and no joy. They say leave a message to be contacted, but nothings happening. Basically they are absolutely useless. If I could I would report these people to DTI but that would probably be a waste of time and effort.

Seem to send what suits them

Just found this site so I can leave a review!!
Not great to deal with, ordered 3 coins on 11/01/26 all showing in stock and received confirmation, got sent 1 silver (cheapest) guessing the other 2 gold not sent as they doubled the price on website after I ordered,

After talking to others it seems this is a common occurrence with this company.

I ordered 2 coins from heritage

I ordered 2 coins from heritage. Received email that order was being processed. Then they said they could not access my account details. I tried contact us form
and I never had an invoice number so could not submit my complaint. Ihave emailed them several times but they just keep telling me to use this form. Abysmal service. Never buy anything from them again.

I ordered some coins for my Dad

I ordered some coins for my Dad, thus he is really passionate with numismatic, for his birthday.
Once you order ONE coin they keep sending the ENTIRE COLLECTION.
I spoke with them in repeated instances, and I asked them politely to STOP sending coins or different products. *if you don't return the coin(s) in 14 days, they'll charge you. This is their entire game...

I placed an order for a set of coins to…

I placed an order for a set of coins to compliment another set I have, I had to send all my details, phone number, address, card details etc. A day later I gat a phone call from one of their sales people, he tried to get me to purchase all kinds of stuff I did not want, he also assured me the order was in stock and on the way.
A few days went by so I sent an email asking when I can expect a delivery, the reply, we do not have any stock but your payment has not been taken. I looked at the site and they are STILL advertising an item they DO NOT HAVE so, I sent another email and another asking WHY do you still advertise it if it is NOT IN STOCK, I received a nonsense reply so, like many others on here I would suggest you shop elsewhere if you want anything this crowd say they have. For me they are data catchers and for certain I will never place an order from them again and I would never recommend them.

Even as I type this they are STILL advertising the item that IS NOT IN STOCK.

I will leave their 'cut and paste' reply, save them the bother.

Silver coin attempted purchase.

I saw an ad on GB news for a Battle Of Britain silver 50p coin. I ordered one and waited ages. I emailed about it and was told they had sold out. The account I use for payment is only stocked with funds as required. I awoke one morning to find an attempt was made to take payment for the coin. Odd, since it was out of stock. I added the funds anyway and selected a different coin, the Geoge and dragon one. After again hearing nothing I used to live chat to follow up. The second coin I was told was lost in the post. That the original coin was on its way though. Having not arrived, I live chatted again and like the previous coin was told, sorry, you'll be refunded. The whole setup feels like some kind of scheme to show money in their account and perhaps enjoy the interest payments before refunds are issued. The 2 stars reflects at least being able to contact someone..

Poor service

My dad is eight six. He ordered the VD coins. He has received four orders and paid by cheque for each one. They have claimed that he didn’t make the third payment. He has proof of cheque being cash on his bank statements. They have sent a horrible letter and added interest and threatening court action. We have tried to contact them but they said the finance department is closed and would call me back but haven’t heard anything. I have then tried to call them today but they said they are closed, (half past three) but but their opening hours are nine until six Monday to Thursday. This is dreadful service for a vulnerable person.

Bought the battle of Britain coin

Bought the battle of Britain coin. 9th September. Eventually got a receipt. Promising a delivery in 5/7 days. That's it. Concerned I had been scammed a tried Bradford chat...now told that have no stock and are waiting for more. Still think I'm being scammed.....will give it another week before recovering my money.. my thoughts buy somewhere else!!

Ordered a silver coin from this company…

Ordered a silver coin from this company on 10 September 2025. Told I would get within 3 to 7 days. As it was not received within the specified time, I telephoned to find out why I had not received it. I was informed that there was a delay and I should have in within the next couple of days. Today, 23 September 2025, I found that they had taken the payment from my bank on 15 September 2025. I contacted them again and asked what was the delay of my order only to be told that I should receive it within the next 5 to 10 days. I cancelled my order and asked for the monies to be paid back into my account. I was informed that I should it would be back in my bank within ( yes, you have guessed it) within the next 5 to 10 days. I informed them that I wanted it back in my bank account within 3 days or I would take further action.
