A great varnish…
I have just used my Hemway gloss lacquer on a small side table I bought, I wanted to vamp up with some gold leaf. I've had problems with varnishing other crafts I have done before and the varnish was still tacky after days and dulled. Not this varnish it goes on a treat and the finish is super ( not too glossy) and very quick drying.

The selection and products are perfect!
The selection is amazing! I have been using the glitter to decorate my prosthetic sockets for 4 years now changing the colors each time and I’m on my 3rd pair. I get compliments all the time. Adds sparkle and joy
Fantastic sparkly glitter which I have added to Sadolin Clear Coat to apply as a top layer over Sadolin Superdec exterior paint. So far the glitter has mixed evenly into the varnish - it took a bit of stirring and it is worth mixing several smaller handfuls in separately rather than pouring all the glitter in at once, because it all bubbles up with air and nearly spills out of the tin if you add too much at once. I've painted a test strip of wood and it is fabulous! You can easily apply the glitter layer to be very sparkly with lots of glitter per square inch or you can spread it out for a sparser glitter effect. I chose "fine" glitter and it's like fairy dust, absolutely beautiful - I had been worried that it might be too fine to see, but it's perfect. I want to paint it on our beach hut so it shimmers like the sun on the sea, but I didn't want it to look like I was creating a disco beach hut. I think a larger size of glitter should definitely create that effect if you were looking for it, though. I also ordered the buffer pads because I originally intended to mix the glitter into the Sadolin Superdec directly, but as it's a rich, opaque colour, I thought the glitter would show better through the clear coat. I am super happy with this so far and will update this review with images once our painting is complete.
