Highly recommend Ryhs and the team over at HELM. He responded to our inquiry immediately and was able to find a yacht that we liked in the area in about two hours, and that could actually sail us in less than two days. He made the impossible, POSSIBLE! The constant communication and attention to detail not only made it happen, it made the experience wonderful from start to finish. Ryhs will be our go-to guy for anything yacht related no matter where we are in the world.

This was our first time using Helm to charter a boat but definitely won’t be the last. The boat that was recommended for our trip was perfect for our wants & needs. The crew onboard made our holiday very special & we couldn’t have wished for more. Can’t wait for our next voyage. Thanks again to everyone at Helm.

This is the first time we have chartered via a broker and we were a little apprehensive about how it would work. However, from initial enquiry, through the booking and process all went very smoothly. The yacht was exactly as described and the local team and support first class. Already have a second booking and would not hesitate to recommend.

I had an amazing holiday sailing in Croatia organised by helm. From start to finish a faultless experience with great communication. Would not hesitate to use them again.

I contacted Marcus Ashe of Helm after an internet search and could not possibly have had a better experience. I wanted to plan a catamaran charter for our family – my husband and I and our two grown children with their spouses. He thoughtfully guided me through our options and steered us towards Croatia. We decided to sail from Split to Dubrovnik and it turned out to be so much better than we ever expected. It was a truly magical experience! Marcus went above and beyond when our son and daughter-in-law missed their connection in Serbia. He was able to arrange a driver to pick them up in Belgrade and deliver them to the yacht on time for our departure. Crisis averted! The Sweet Dreams crew outdid themselves - Skipper Tomislav and gourmet chef Ariana made us feel instantly at home, surprised me with a small birthday party, and professionally and skillfully made sure we saw and did everything the beautiful islands of Croatia we visited offered.
Helm handled all the details of our trip flawlessly and I will definitely use them again to plan our next voyage. We all agree that we would love to go on another yacht charter again soon.

Just ashore after 5 weeks charter in Croatia arrange by Peter Harrison at HELM. Peter has been recommended by a contact in Bosham and found us a new 2024 40 ft Beneteau from Pomer on the Istrian peninsula. Boat, arrangements and local charter company all really good.

We are inside the last moments of this great holiday. Everything exceeded expectations. I want to thank Jack Jennings and the team at Helm for steering our preferences to an excellent experience.

We had a very enjoyable trip, the company was easy to work with and our skipper was fantastic. The entire package was good value for money.

Helm were great to deal with, getting back on any enquiries very quickly. Our Lagoon 46 catamaran was very well equipped and spacious, very comfortable indeed. Our skipper was highly proficient and very knowledgeable, taking us away from the crowds to beautiful little coves. We would definitely use Helm for future charters.

Great attention to detail from Helm in organising our fantastic sailing holiday in Croatia. They listened to the brief and provided lots of options. It was good to deal with a UK based broker for reassurance when booking expensive kit abroad. Thoroughly recommend Helm and will use them for our next charter.

We could not have asked for more. A fantastic catermaran that fit all 8 of us in comfort, a captain that not only knew how to sail the boat, but knew the sites to see and the best routes to avoid the high winds and make the most of it. The chef was worthy of a Michelin star. The service was on par with the finest of hotels. Truely exceeded all our expectations.

We have just returned from a fantastic bareboat charter sailing adventure around the Greek Cyclades on a stunning 1-year-old Beneteau 41 named "Farrari." This is the second time we have relied on Helm to arrange our booking, including all our additional extras and requests. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and one of the key reasons we will always use Helm in the future is because we dealt with one person from the onset, Rhys Warwick.

I must extend a big thank you to Rhys for his professionalism, knowledge, and unwavering availability. He was always on hand to respond to calls and emails throughout the planning process and during the holiday itself. The whole process was incredibly smooth—I am convinced they even calmed down the troublesome Meltemi wind for us, ensuring perfect sailing conditions!

Keep up the excellent work, Helm. We are looking forward to booking with you again very soon. Thank you!

A first rate experience and I would certainly use Helm again.

We sailed around the Dalmatian Islands in May for a week.

Brilliant customer service from Helm and in particular Ed who helped us choose the perfect trip using his incredible knowledge. He was always available for any questions or to provide help when needed, even when we were on the holiday itself. We couldn't have asked for better customer service from Ed and Helm, super easy end to end.

Also a shout out to our incredible captain, Tommy, at Ban Tours. He ensured we had the best holiday possible. He was very easy to get along with and also has incredible knowledge of the islands and places to go based on our very high level preferences.

We would definitely use Helm again for our next trip and I've already recommended them to friends and family.

We had yet another wonderful sailing holiday booked through Peter at Helm - our third. Wonderful service and responsiveness. Peter not only arranged the booking with the local charter company but had great suggestions on the boat that would suit us and other elements like tipping etc.

We had a magical week sailing the Gulfs of Gocek and Fethiye. When we thought of the Turkish coast, we thought of Bodrum and had never heard of Gocek. But thankfully Peter at Helm knew better. Gocek is a bit further south, on the Mediterranean facing Rhodes and by far the most beautiful marina town we have visited.

The area is perfect for sailing. Like the BVI, the gulfs were protected yet had good wind, and nature was the main attraction. There are many uninhabited islands all covered in a green mosaic of pine and olive trees - and occasional herd of goats - surrounded by impossibly turquoise water and a dramatic mountain backdrop in the distance.

In each nook there was a single restaurant/bar with tables right on the water and stunning views. Most were super simple, but feels like that may change with the entrance of Yazz Collective (still understated and true to the surroundings but definitely a more luxurious, high-end take).

We lucked out with the timing - warm and sunny but ahead of European summer holidays. It felt like we had the place largely to ourselves.

Our captain grew up in Gocek and knew all the best places, and seemingly everyone in the area. The boating community was warm and welcoming. At one stop our sailboat neighbors invited us for a fun evening of stories and Raki, the anise-flavored national drink of Turkey. They told us to drink slowly. After 3 each we understood why.

Like the rest of Turkey, there is a lot of history tucked into these little islands. St Nicholas Island is believed to be the original burial place of Jolly Old St Nick in 326 AD and has four churches from the 5th - 7th centuries believed to be built by Christians on their pilgrimage to the Holy Land. And in Hamman Bay you can swim through ruins of Cleopatra’s baths, a wedding present from Marc Antony and enjoyed by Cleopatra on their honeymoon in 32 BC (at least so says our captain).

An absolutely amazing week enjoying this special place.
