I am writing this very detailed review to help other customers avoid a similar experience.
On 26 December 2025, I visited HelloRE to fix a display flickering issue on my Apple MacBook Pro. The issue appeared during normal usage, and the laptop had no physical damage.
The service centre suggested replacing the display for ₹23,500 and assured me of a 1-year warranty, valid if there was no physical damage. Trusting this assurance, I agreed.
After only 3 days of very light use, I discovered that the new display also had vertical flickering, which is not easily visible to a normal user and appears only under specific conditions. I identified this issue after researching it thoroughly and immediately informed the service center.
They took the laptop back and later claimed physical damage without providing proof. This was shocking because the laptop was never mishandled.
When I went to collect the laptop, I spent nearly one hour checking it, but:
Proper handover was refused
I was asked to accept a faulty display
My original display was kept
Charging a high amount, retaining original parts, denying warranty without evidence, and attempting to hand over a defective display is misleading and unacceptable service.
