The Gather platform is easy to use and set up. While we didn’t use all the features, we found it the perfect RSVP software to add into our wedding website. Located in Nova Scotia, Canada, we found all the features transferred well and that our guest of all ages could easily complete their RSVP.

We saw Gather on Instagram so decided to just see how easy it was to build our wedding - and it was really simple to set up! We made the purchase and it has been a huge, huge help! With it being a new programme, there are a few bits of constructive user feedback which would take this to the next level!

1) more responsive customer service. I had an issue with the app, sent a message and it is still unanswered to this day - please remember to respond!

2) asking guests questions - quite late on in our process, something cropped up and we needed to get answers from our guests. I thought the "ask a question" function would notify all the guests via email, however it only is accessed via the gather platform, so only 6 of our 100 guests responded. We had to manually chase. Please update this to actually notify the guests that they need to log in and answer us.

3) menus - this was really easy for our wedding breakfast menu choices, but the evening buffet format isn't user friendly. Rather than having "Buffet Menu" and all the options, it's "Buffet Menu - pizza", then another tab "Buffet Menu - chicken wings" etc. 5 buffet tabs could be condensed to just 1 to keep things simple for our guests.

4) Our gift list was at the bottom of the landing page by default, and we've had plenty of messages about "what do we want for our gift?" - when we point out it's in the gather platform, they were unaware.

5) similarly to #2, we have had a change of timing for the evening. There is no "send notification" option so are having to manually chase 40 evening guests.

The huge plusses of this platform is collating menu choices and RSVPs, that is the big win for it! Tidy up these points above and the app is pretty faultless to me!

Gather made it so easy for our guests to RSVP, and to communicate with them all in one go.

From the moment we set it up, everything felt intuitive and well thought out. Creating our guest list was simple, and we loved how easy it was to customise RSVP questions to fit our needs (meal choices, plus-ones, dietary restrictions). We really rated the options to change the colours, fonts and add our own designs to the page. I sketched and painted the reception venue and the Chapel - I was really happy I could showcase these images on our physical invites and on Gather. The layout is clean and user-friendly, not just for us but for our guests too—many of whom were of our parents generation, they too commented on how effortless it felt to RSVP. They also admired the ability to change meal choices or guests RSVP's if someone could no longer attend.

One of the standout features is the real-time tracking. Being able to see responses update instantly took away so much stress and eliminated the need for constant follow-ups. We also enjoyed the ability to message specific guest groups, meaning those who were staying at our venue could receive accommodation details and those who weren't could easily receive transport details Fortunately, we did not need to use the gentle nudge (reminder) feature, but we both agreed that would have been super helpful for those last minute guests.

What sets Gather apart is how much time it saves while still feeling personal. It streamlined communication, reduced paperwork, and gave us more space to focus on actually enjoying the wedding planning process. The groom was working away for the 4 months leading up to the wedding so I was solo planning for most of it and Gather really gave me the ability to relax and know everything was in one space should guests or any of my suppliers have any queries.

We will be recommending Gather to all of our engaged friends. It is a reliable, modern, and stress-free way to manage wedding RSVPs and communicate last minute changes to guests that inevitably arise whilst wedding planning. It is absolutely worth it. It turned what could have been a logistical nightmare into one of the easiest parts of planning our big day which turned out to be the best weekend of our lives and exactly how we imagined it.

Really enjoyed using gather for my wedding invites, just felt £99 was a little too expensive.

So much easier then sending out physical invitations, being able to send a link where guests can rsvp and choose meals has been a life saver. Love that can download a spreadsheet of guests choices as well.

Really great and easy to use platform, keeping all the small details of wedding planning in one place from food choices, RSVPs, gifting, FAQs for guests, travel information and even sending out group notification messages. Even customisable!! To fit perfectly to the colour schemes and aesthetics of your special day! Truly a great platform for the modern day wedding.

We planned and organised our wedding in just 9 weeks and Gather helped us to do that! Even though we didn’t have much time the website still gave a very professional and stylish feel to our wedding, it was easy and quick to set up and use. Instead of sending out save the dates and invites we used Gather to do it all by using the link as our invite. The site was easy to navigate and you could put your personal touch to it with photos etc.

We were able to separate the day to the evening guests too. Having one link you could send to all your guests made it easy for them to reply and the site kept track of all those who could make it, keeping it stress free. Being able to add meal selections which you could export to a spreadsheet helped us send details to the venue.

The whole website just made one of the biggest parts of the wedding so easy to organise and it looked great. The price was good too and not too expensive compared to others sites. We didn’t use the gift option with Prezola although we did look at it. We choose in the end to add separate gift card voucher options instead but this was great as so easy to set up and worked so well.

We had many compliments on the site.

Amazing and worth every penny!
Hello Gather was extremely user-friendly for someone like me who is not the best at these things, and yet it still produced something very high-end.
It was easy for our guests to navigate and it wasn't too dense yet it retained all necessary information.
I was able to include a few cute pice here and there.
This also saved us the hassle of having to make and post physical invitations.
Hello Gather is also very fairly priced for what it offers.
I highly recommend and I'd choose this platform again in a heartbeat.

The sight is so so easy to use and looks so professional!
I do think it would be better if you could add more personal photos onto the sight!

I saw the recommendation from Georgia Rose Events and I loved the look and simplicity of the platform. My guests have commented what a nice wedding website it is. Only improvements I would recommend are, a larger image (if wanted) on the opening page and a place to detail who is in your bridal party with pictures.

What a fantastic app. This saved us so much time with sending out invites to our wedding. You can organise with ease, customise change things and let everyone know in just a few clicks. Well worth the money!

Simple and excellent customer service assistance. Fair price also!

The idea is good. But half of my guests didn't receive their links which were sent via the emails. we have had to resent the links via whatsap.

Edited: why is gathering saying they don’t use email to send like when that is exactly how it’s sent. Regardless each invitation via their website platform isn’t functioning properly. We have had to message each guest separately to ask them to check their email from gather for the link to their RSVP. A shame, it spoilt the surprise.

Gather has been a game changer for me while planning my wedding! So easy to use and customise. I would highly recommend it to anyone! I especially like the feature that you can generate a QR code to use on your wedding invites to have all of your RSVPs done digitally and it also collects the dietary requirements! Great product 😊

Fully used this service for my recent birthday party, it was very professional and took away all the pressure of keeping track of guests in one place.

Gather is everything we were looking for & more for our wedding!

It’s so easy to set up and edit along the way, to send on to guests and it has every feature you could want and need for your special day.

We loved that you could use the app before paying to activate it, and how stress-free it made the process of planning for us!

We highly recommend this app & will always share this with friends in the future :)

I set up gather but after multiple attempts to log in I was still unable to access my account , luckily my other half had access and I was able to log in on his account . I did reach out to customer service but they were unable to help . It does unfortunately has some glitches to resolve , but it a lovely and easy to set up a modern sophisticated platform without lots of unnecessary paper with easy to amend or reword sections
