This team knows their audience and are great at what they do. I’m grateful for the suite of options for every learning style. I pray that this team remain Christ/Ministry centered.

I really like the coaches for Hear and Play. They are very knowledgeable and great teachers.

It is well structured courses, and the concepts are explained very well in detail.

“Hear And Play” The best thing happened to me in this season of my life! I always had a desire to learn how to play the piano. I’m very musical, but yet it felt like I was NEVER going to learn how to play this instrument. It always looked so complicated. Hear And Play showed me that anyone could play the piano. Formulas, principles , and systems makes you to play many songs after 3 /4 weeks already. Flexible hours to learn what I desired! Even when you are as busy as I am due to a consistent training schedule for every level! AWESOME!! Of course the key to your progress is practice! We have to do our part, but they are DEFINITELY do theirs!

I’m learning things I never knew. Program was explained well to me. I like that I can do it at my own pace.

Going step by step with you to make sure you're growing properly .

I’ve tried off and on to learn Gospel Piano for a a few years now and would always seem to hit a wall, get frustrated and stop. Probly done that about 5 times, tried other programs (YouTube and all that stuff) and could never get thru whatever the wall was that I kept getting stuck at. I knew the scales and different chords and how to figure them out (major,minor, diminished, 7, 9, 11, 13) but couldn’t put it all together.
I tried the 30 day free trial over a year ago (also bought the musician transformation dvd set) and I really enjoyed the way that Jermaine and JP explained everything and broke it all down but wasn’t really ready to spend the money at time. A friend of mine loaned me the Gospel Keys 101, 202 & 500 dvd set and that was the kicker that finally convinced me to spend the money for at least a couple months and see what happens.
Im about to start my 4th month and it’s been the best thing I’ve done for my piano playing, I’ve learned how to play 6 songs already and not just be able to mimic the song but know what I’m playing and why and how it works, the way JP teaches awesome because he doesn’t just show you the notes or chords in his song lessons but he’s able to break them down into little drills and practice methods you can use on your own that work with more then just the song you’re learning at the time. Honestly wish I had just pulled the trigger and paid the money a year ago when I started the free trial. Been wanting to learn Ol Rugged Cross for a long time and I was able to find the melody of the song and put together the chords for it on my own (it took a while but eventually I got there lol) because of the things I’ve learned from JP and Jermaine. I really like that I can practice at my own pace and I can make my own schedule, I’m not forced to be somewhere at a certain time for a specific amount of time practicing a specific thing everyday, I may only be able to give 30 min some days but that 30 min is helpful because of the way they put their lessons together.
There’s so many other things about the program I like but we ain’t got the time for all that, let’s just say if you’re on the fence and not sure about joining just do it I promise you won’t be disappointed with the results you get. Looking forward to where I’ll be in a year from now with my Gospel Piano playing with the GMTC. Keep up the great work you guys for reals are awesome

Comfortable teachers, good setup, good equipment and fun group work!

If you want to learn how music really works and how to play the kind of gospel music that you probably heard in church one time, this is the place! You will learn to become a gospel musician and be able to play what you hear. But make no mistake. When you learn these skills, they will apply to all kinds of music.

Still in the learning mode and feel the instructors are talking to people who have had some piano experience whereas I am new to the piano.

I love learning new songs and being taught what I am playing I just wish I could spend more time practicing but I’m working it! Thanks GMTC all of you are so beneficial to the cause!

The teaching and the teachers have been great about explaining step-by-step the ways to reach your productive goals. It is comforting to see that they use their own life experiences, humor and errors, to show that making mistakes do happen, but with time they can be worked out. The video instructions have been easy to follow and give you a feeling that the instructors are sitting along side you.
The test following the instructional videos have been insightful and challenging but help to show growth immediately.
The staff has been readily available when needed and very constructive and sensitive to your inquiries.
Daily contact: text messaging, e-mails and personal inspirational encouragement has proven that this is a caring and supportive program that proves their mission on helping people know, "If you can hear it, you can play it." Thank you GMTC.

Not very useful, learning was too restricted to imitating videos

When I enrolled I couldn't log in. Tried to end the trial but customer service couldn't help. It was long ago when I first enrolled in the trial.

The best online music

There is none better in all the Land than GMTC/ Hear & Play. I have been a new member for about 1 year. I first came across this wonderful program, developed by Mr. Jermaine Griggs 23 1/2 years ago on the internet. I love his methods of teaching Gospel Music Piano and all the resources that are available. I have never seen or experienced such Awesome, Dedicated, Caring, Professional, Compassionate, Legitimate, the best teachers, and all the staff is always so helpful. Everyone are the best at their Craft. All are so genuine and helpful.
It truly amazes me how the Founder, Jermaine Griggs is constantly looking for new ways to add new learning resources for the students, and how he is evolved. I have learned so much since starting the program, and love how the students all are like a Family/Friends. They all are so helpful and encouraging to each other. I love how we can meet for group discussions or even displaying our own self recorded piano practice of a song we are working on. I love that! I want to take part in that, very soon. I just cannot say enough regarding GMTC. When I think about the 23 or almost 24 years I had missed out of this Amazing Program, it hurts and brings tears to my eyes! I have let so many years pass by that cannot be replaced. Still I know if I want to achieve what God has for me, and his promises for me; I must forget the past, and move ahead. Everything I need to succeed is at Hear & Play. Created by Mr. J. Griggs, with his awesome , dedicated, and competent teachers & staff. What a Treasure I have found, when God Blessed me to become a member of Hear & Play /GMTC Family! I may have a very small natural family, but now I see that God has given me a True genuine Gospel Music piano learning family of so many fellow students, friends, Staff that really want to help and we all share a common bond, and love for wanting to perfect the gift that God has given us. To reach our goal to perfect our love for playing the Piano or Organ. I have a long ways to go, but I must keep moving towards my Goal to reach my destiny. To achieve what I have strongly, desired for decades. I will with GMTC help. I may have taken a few detours, but I am now getting back on track. I am regrouping, using God, Faith,Trust, and GMTC/Hear & Play Family/Program, as my GPS to guide me to my Destiny! There is none better than Hear & Play/ GMTC in all the Land! Transitioning From Classical to Contemporary Gospel.

In the last 3 months, the coaches and instructors gave many tips to make playing contemporary gospel music easy. I started in the 60s playing traditional gospel using I-IV-V-I progressions. I am now comfortable playing contemporary progressions using ii and vi chords. The coaches/instructors put me at ease while helping me master the concepts.

I plan to continue playing classical music so I will turn a phrase and say Hear and Play IS my last gospel piano teacher.

I became a member years ago. I was a working musician and the concept of learning gospel along with music theory really sparked my interest. Jermaine and Johnathan's positive energy really inspired me to dedicate my life to music. And then I had a series of life changing setbacks and I thought it was time to give up. But I just couldn't give up. My health kept getting worse and it seemed like I had to give up. I was offered a chance to be a permanent member but I kept putting it off thinking I didn't know if I could go on. Then I had the pleasure of talking to Brian. We had a great conversation and it galvanized me to become a permanent member. Though the struggle is real so is my faith in God and Hear and Play provides me with the best tools and support system available to keep going. I send this as my testimony to this program as I think if you want to be a true musician you can't go wrong with Hear and Play. I thank Jermaine, Johnathan and Brian for what they do as well as the ton of positive musicians. I can go on and on with thanks but don't take my word for it, Check it out for yourself.
