We purchased a SL300 brand new from our local dealer. Used it 30 months and then stored it in a heated garage for 2 years. Sold it on Facebook and another dealer out of Colorado Springs installed it and claims the motor is bad and the circuit board is out. So future customers beware, if this is true then they only lasts for 30 months and it’ll cost you over $1200 to replace these things. I’m thinking the dealer made up these claims wanting to make additional monies as the original dealer out of Pueblo, Co says the motors should last 15 to 20 years minimum. Beware Beware

NUTS TERRIBLE THE WORST....The girl answering the phone was SOOOOO rude (oh my God) and then when I said could I talk to a manager, she said sure, and then when the manager got on the phone...SHE WAS WORSE, I couldnt believe someone could be worse than the girl answering the phone....they were SOOOOO RUDE angry mean rough nuts.....IT WAS NUTS....I wish you had or have recording for quality control and training purposes.....YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THESE TWO.....they are costing you a fortune....anyway WE WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH HARMAR because of these front line workers, we will take our business to your competitor or competitors in the near future as we are purchasing 2,000 or more devices, I wish I could say thank you and have a great day whoevers reading this....BUT I JUST CANT....but I will say in close GOOD RIDDENS Signed Dissatisfied possible customer (WOW)

Harmar AL600 Hybrid Power Chair and Scooter Lift has cost me more money to keep up with repairs than what I spent to purchase and install the chair lift. Of the 3 years I have had the lift I have been able to use it 6 months in that time period. As a disabled person that is dependent on the use of a wheelchair for mobility it has had a terrible impact on my daily life. Due to poor equipment design, poor quality control, coupled with substandard building materials the only outcome that could be achieved are disastrous results.

Highly Unethical service department | Selling defective and dangerous items to the disable people.

The new unit of SL600 (Stair lift) was installed on 2 years back. All of a sudden with no reason there were a huge explosive like impact which happened due to breaking of one of the gear component in the stair lift.

When I connected customer service desk about the issue about the potential danger which could have lead to life treating incidents, they connected me for immediate removal. To avoid any investigation of the defective items, they took away the entire stair lift and later started telling lie about broken component. They took away the Stair lift 4.5K USD and never bother to compensate about the damage happened to my home and the cost of asset itself.
In particular, the whole company is a fraud. They promised the compensate my damage (life threating) which could lead much more serious as we are 4 person (including 2 toddler kids) and our office was also next to the stairs. These guys made fake promises and cleverly remove the evidences for any further investigation by telling lie. Now when I want the components back for deeper investigation they are not responding at all.
Hope my incident will be a learning lesson for others to keep away from the dangerous items which they are selling to the disable people and looting the money by doing fraud of fake compensations.

If zero stars was an option that's what I'd give. Some people have to rely on these every day, yet they are the complete opposite of reliable.
I've had my vpl for 14 months and it has broken more times than that.... once for a full 28 days. Not to mention it's an outdoor vertical platform lift and they don't cover water damage from rain. Now luckily the VA put mine in so they cover the cost of repairs, but im the one stuck home every time it breaks and you can tell noone there is a wheelchair user because they sure take their time getting parts out. I do not recommend

Have had Harmar Highlander VPL since 2017. The regen computer board has been replaced 3 times and down again with no parts availability. Maybe I got a lemon but I will never purchase another one of there products are recommend them.

The lift has changed my life and my husband’s. It gave me back my independence and his that I had lost because of not being able to lift my scooter out of the car and put together. I have shown so many people how to use it because I’m always getting asked in the store’s parking lot.

My father used the Harmar mobility stair chairlift very successfully from age 101 to 104. It helped him each day getting up and downstairs.

Absolutely horrible the chain in the bottom of the motor broke the first week of having the lift that took 2 months to get fixed. This lift was installed by a contractor from the VA. The issue with this lift is it's not designed to lift a 295-pound large scooter that takes up the bed of an F-150 truck. This scooter lifts and never gets over the tailgate I end up having to lift it over because it won't go because the scooter is too heavy and not only that but the arm of the lift causes the handlebars of the scooter to get jammed under it so then it's stuck and someone has to get into the bed of the truck to get it unjammed from the arm of the lift. Mind you this lift has a U bar that hooks under the set of the scooter that I didn't feel safe with because that little clip doesn't seem very safe and secure when 295 pounds are hanging in the air and you are trying to put this into your bed of a truck and praying it doesn't give way. My husband is a disabled veteran and this was to help him and it hasn't it has broke down 2 times since October. The other thing that is messed up is the cover that came with the scooter you can't use it because of the lift arm so when it is going to rain I have to cancel appointments because we can't take his scooter because the cover won't work with the lift arm. One of the biggest mistakes was getting this lift. The VA is in the works to get him another lift for a van because this has been a horrible experience with this lift.

I purchased a mobility scooter 2 years ago because I wanted to participate in activities that I could not walk to. I didn’t want to turn down activities with friends or miss my Granddaughters softball games and tournaments. The lift allowed me to experience all of those.

I purchased the rav stairlifts about 9 monrhs ago. I had a faulty part and have been waiting on warranty fix from the start.
I've called numerous times but can't seem to contact anyone that will call me back.
The salesman, Mr. Justin was very misleading.
I understand about bad parts. But hamar has made no effort to replace.

I have the Harmar motorized lift w/ swing away arm. I am finally independent again. I can go by myself with my chair & lift. My lift locks the chair in place, securing solidily so I don't have too. What a wonderful investment.

I have a Highlander 2, 30inch lift VPL. In garage. Did a lot of research, selected a professional elevator installer. Runs great after two years. Best product for the job. I'm a retired mechanical engineer.

The product quality, the very talented and professional technicians, that they have an electrician on staff. They take care of EVERYTHING!!! And from start to finish, the work was perfect. I bought one chair lift and loved it so much the the second one was installed today. I’d rate 100 ⭐️⭐️

MY LIFT LOOK A LOT BETTER THAN THE OTHER COMPANY LIFTS WITH IT HAD CAM ERA ON IT SO YOU CAN SEE WHEN YOU BACKUP OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE IT!

My lift works great for me. No mechanical issues at all. The only problem I've had is with the bottom bushing on the post receiver. The set screw failed and the bushing came out. A little super glue, and a just in case piece of duct tape, and it's all good.
