Tenancy manager ignored my 14 day notice, rented a property with severe black mould, tried to gaslight and bully tenant, Tenancy Tribunal agreed with tenant

Sold a property for $650000 approx 23 k commission.
And got a gift a Harcoutrs branded umbrella.GOSH!
The property I later purchased $300000 through Property Brokers rewarded with a fire extinguisher and a $100 gift card constantly told to lower ask.Told me 700 k no problem pie in the sky agent Arvi.

We have properties in Auckland, we live overseas so it's important we have a Property Mgr we can rely on to do inspections, keep us informed, recommend when rent should go up or down, generally look after our properties and advise us accordingly.
Our Prop. Mgr is Leonie Nash at Harcourts New Lynn, Leonie does an excellent job, we have confidence that Leonie will look after our property, I know I can trust her to do a great job.

->Property is dirty - residues been in place months years.
->Carpets not even vacuumed.
->No hot water because there's no gas bottles - why wasn't I told?
->The washing machine advertised has black mold.
->Shower assembly all loose and leaking.
Removed a matted layer of mold from top of shower
->Bins in a disgusting state with flies everywhere.
->Curtains with stains and mould - Their inventory report states "curtains in good condition and free from stains or damage."

In response to my complaint the harcourts holmwood property agent told me the property is in "immaculate condition".
Property agent told me to apply to tribunal - on the first day.

Update: After posting this on Facebook, people reached out to ask, "is this Harcourts Holmwood?"

So, what I've experienced is not a one off.

Very poor communication as a buyer there was little to no follow up on my offer my last contact was ignored property sold for less than my offer which I found out from an outside source as a seller I won’t go with this company due to lack of communication and transparency with buyers I will not recommend to friends and colleagues with property to sell and won’t look at property to buy with this company again

Gisborne Harcourts team are honestly the best in the Gisborne region! My brother and I are renting our first home. The team are extremely kind, welcoming and compassionate! The process was so fast, effective and fair. We will definitely be doing business with them in the future! Highy recommended if you're in the Gisborne region!

Don't believe their advertising about their rental agency abilities. As a landlord (now selling the property) I had several inspection reports saying there were no leaks. They say they got a plumber in to inspect the property, he said there were no leaks but they have not sent me his report. Anyway, tenants moves out, I inspect the property and find significant water damage in my bathroom from a leak. Bathroom now being rebuilt. Harcourts just playing games with me trying to deny any liability even though they told me there were no leaks. I'd burn my house down rather than rent it out through Harcourts.

Our experience with Harcourts Landed, Lunn Ave., Mt. Wellington, was extremely disappointing. We hired them for property management and found their services to be consistently negligent and unprofessional, to the point of them blaming me for their failings.

They failed to get a Tenancy Agreement from the tenant, they failed to deal with well overdue water rates and a critical maintenance issue was not actioned by their team until July, even though Harcourts Landed had been aware of these issues since they took over in late March (Even though they inherited the issues from the previous PM). This failure to act exposed us to a potential breach of the Healthy Homes laws, a failing that Harcourts Landed later acknowledged. Their complete lack of proactiveness and general mismanagement led us to terminate our agreement. They did finally have the maintenance performed a very few weeks before giving them notice and we hired a new property management company, Clarke Group Property Management, to properly handle our investment.

We do not recommend Harcourts Landed based on our experience with their service.

We contracted Harcourt Auctions to sell our luxury listing in Florida. While we had a positive experience working with Matt, unfortunately, the overall communication and professionalism of the team fell short. Heidi, the administrative assistant, was consistently unresponsive — emails went unanswered, voicemails were not returned, and getting clear answers to basic questions was extremely difficult.

After repeated attempts to get in touch, I sent a group text requesting a call back. To my surprise, I received a call from someone who simply offered to cancel the contract and wished me “best of luck” — with no attempt to resolve the concerns or improve the experience.

Selling a high-value property requires a level of service and communication that we simply did not receive. I would not recommend Harcourt Auctions based on this experience

Harcourts Grenadier Commercial was an expensive waste of time and money on marketing budget and received close to no communication. If potential buyers get anything like the crap service we received as sellers, theres no chance of selling via Harcourts.

Maria Zamanis is the worst property manager. Has been completely unresponsive - caused losses due to her inaction

Absolute scam of a company. We ended our lease waited to get our $6,000 deposit back.
Then receive a letter with deductions for crazy things that were not agreed contractually.
Stealing money from us to pay for a Gardner although clear as day it is written in the contract that is is not our responsibility. Countless items like this.
Ths all came about after receiving an electrical shock, we chased them for 3 months and they didn't do anything. So we had to get it fixed ourselves having a 1 year old and pregnant wife i couldn't wait any longer. Their response was we should have waited for them to sort it out. Absolute joke
We are having to take them to court because they refuse to return any of our deposit unlawfully. Keep a eye our for CARLENE MURDOCH. Supposedly a director. Rudest woman alive, holds a personal grudge and very immature.

I found them helpful, supportive and understanding of our needs.
Their great communication made life virtually hassle free.
Our property managers were reasonable people with realistic expectations.
I would recommend Harcourts Just Rentals Whangarei if you are looking for a rental property in Whangarei.

My interactions with Alex Rainsford have always been friendly and warm. She is highly intelligent and motivated, very principled. Family orientated and interested in those around her. I have no doubt that she will make any interactions with Harcourts a pleasure.

Jackie, Guided us through the recent purchase of a holiday home on banks peninsula. Jackie has a laid back, no pressure approach to selling real-estate. Negotiating with the previous owners was smooth and quick. Would highly recommend and will use Jackie for our next purchase.

Harcourts Hamilton Rentals is an organised crime unit, They have a dodgy healthy homes assessor who claims 1 hour on their site and only comes 20min claiming if I do dnot see it does not go in my report giving this home a healthy homes cert yet the entire roof needed to be replaced from leaks spouting was pooling and draughts are still present, when you bring this up, they will do everything in their power to get you out of the property from fabricated complaints to trying ameth test same day results come back property manager is "sick" from your EMAILS so he can not turn up to court, the Owner has her Husband do the handyman work he will come play nice talk nice then 20 days later write up a ficticious complaint to help hold up their cross application to end your tenancy healthy homes man 19 days afterc oming writes up a ficticous complaint after being asked to be a witness, anti social notices given for emails 2 for same day with different dates when they fail in court to remove you they will claim to sell the house 3 weeks later giving you notice why even do an application to end tenancy if you were going to sell.. These are bad people who care nothing about tenants or landlord, Husband claims he will be back to repair his own work hes already done creating himself more work the same issues taking 3-4 attempts to fix the issues stealing money from the landlord and the quality of work is that of a kindergarten child then say its up to the new buyer to fix it not helping to get the home in tip top shape for sale at all quite the opposite.. If your a landlord who likes to cut corners and hate on your tenants these are the people for you, if you genuinely care about your property and tenants look else where trust me.

Harcourts Maynard Burgoyne provided us with an invalid electrical coc certificate. When we brought it to the agent's attention, they refused to take responsibility and accountability for the fraudulent coc certificate stating that Harcourts had nothing to do with the coc that it was the owners. I had no dealings with the owner as I only dealt with the agent so for the agent to tell me that is unacceptable. Note that prescription starts from date of discovery and it was discovered this year when we decided to sell. I am going to report Harcourt to the EAAB for its unethical conduct and I sincerely hope that the fidelity fund certificate is revoked.

Harcourts Hamilton Rentals - DREADFUL! Would give zero stars if I could. They just DGAF about their tenants, only the money. Had a multitude of serious issues with the agent, very unprofessional and uncaring, don't respond to emails or phone calls and when I left the property they refused to refund the bond in full and I had to take them to Tribunal to get it back. Avoid like the plague, they are beyond useless.

Michelle Barber of Harcourts Whitby is definitely a no go agent for me. Called in a couple of times and email a couple of times but no answer or responses at all. During viewing she acts like a btch. Called in again for the last time and asked for how much would i offer, she just dropped the call without saying anything.
Really bad service. Time for her to retire.

I'd love to leave a -5 star review for fiona Worthington at harcourts she's had multiple tenants complain about her. She is very rude and acts kindly to your face. If she's your property manager currently please be aware of her evil acts and doing she is also a liar
