I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this company. I made a mistake on ordering and didn't change the delivery address, I contacted the company with the correct address and they came straight back to me saying they had changed it for me. The item was delivered quickly and was well worth the money. I am thrilled and will use again . Thank you for a pleasant, hassle free transaction. Well done Hamperwell.

Disgusting service! Came in a broken box and made an error with the delivery address! Very unhelpful! Avoid them if you can!

I ordered a £52 Lindt chocolate gift box from Hamperwell as a thoughtful birthday gift for a close friend, and I’m honestly appalled at what I received — or rather, what I didn’t receive. First off, the product that arrived looked nothing like what was described on the website. The packaging was absolutely awful — it looked like someone had thrown it together last minute with zero care or attention. The worst part? I had included a personal birthday message for my friend, and they completely ignored it. No note. No message. Just a disappointing, substandard box that was clearly not what I paid for.

I tried reaching out to Hamperwell multiple times via email to resolve the issue — hoping for at least an apology or explanation — and they’ve completely ignored me. Not a single response. For a company that supposedly specializes in thoughtful gifting, this was anything but thoughtful.

If you’re considering ordering from them — don’t. Save your money and go with a business that actually values its customers and delivers what it promises.

I ordered a £44 Lindt chocolate gift box as a thoughtful present for a family member. The description promised a specific selection of Lindt chocolates, but what arrived was a poorly packed box missing key Lindt items and stuffed with Ferrero Rocher — something I never ordered or wanted.

This wasn’t a minor issue — it was a complete failure to deliver what was advertised. When I contacted the seller, they admitted the error but refused to issue a refund unless the item was returned, even though it had already been given as a gift. That’s not just inconvenient — it’s unreasonable.

The lack of accountability and the dismissive, rigid response from their customer service was deeply frustrating. Instead of making things right, they pushed the burden onto me to fix their mistake.

This experience was a complete letdown and I would not order from them again.

For £49.99 and delivery, it was a lovely alternative to the normal bouquet of flowers as it contains Lindt chocolates and rose soaps (made from some sort of material so I'm not quite sure how that will work out in a bath).

The customer services was really prompt in helping to change the delivery address when I realised it was going to the wrong place! Thank you so much. But the info on the website re how I can change the delivery address wasn't very clear. Please make clearer.

TIP: HamperWell miss a trick, the bouquet of chocolate and rose soaps should also include a mini bottle of wine and an HamperWell name stamped mini wine glass. That would have made this present completely worthwhile for any female, showing total love and pampering. Give option on the type of wine at point of purchase as each lady likes different type. I hope to see this option in the choices in the future. Thank you HamperWell. My mum loves the novelty x

PAID OVER £100 for an item and guaranteed delivery, item arrived 2 weeks late.

No response to emails and no way to contact the company.

Although product is nice, very very very overpriced. Most of these products could be purchased and made yourself at a fraction of the cost. Unfortunately won’t purchase again

I wish I had read that reviews before buying..
The item arrived a few days late. Which I can live with.
But over all it wasn't value for money at all.
It looked much better in the pic.
The Mrs didn't think much of it. And when she asked the amount I paid they just rolled her eyes and said could have gotten 5-6 boxes of the same chocolate for that much..🤣🤣

I have to say have I read the reviews before purchasing from this website? I would’ve probably not purchased however I purchased first then read the reviews now. I’m not quite sure what’s happened to other people in the past but what I do know is my purchase deserves every praise it’s arrived beautifully presented. It’s a nice size worth the money and it’s arrived in time for my wife’s birthday. I appreciate some people would’ve had some issues but this company deserves better praise than what it has received. I will certainly to use them again

I feel I have to try to even up these scores.
I duplicated my order in error.
My order was changed without any problem at all.
The refund was in my account the next day.

Excellent communications. I think there have been major recent changes and I hope to place more orders in future.

No delivery even after 3 weeks, after spending 110 pounds. No phone number to ring, nobody replying to my email. I don't know what will happen next and if it is an honest mistake, but so far, bad experience. I don't trust companies that have no phone number. Regretting my purchase.

Don’t use this company

Ordered next day delivery on a £80 hamper and waited 5 days so far and not even a dispatch email and no response to two email absolute scam of a company

Got a little confused with delivery date and despatch date as it seems many others have as well leaving negative comments about delivery

I was informed despatch means to leave their warehouse which when looking on the website it does actually say this clearly so my mistake not theirs

Terrible they said order was delivered when it clearly wasn’t, blunt reply from them and then when asking for a refund they haven’t replied completely fraudulent company

WELL WELL WELL! MY BAD FOR NOT READING THESE MULTIPLE BAD REVIEWS BEFOREHAND. I am normally very thorough in researching and planning things well in advance and did exactly that in this case.

I ordered the Hamperwell Lindt heart-shaped mixed chocolate and forever flowers hamper box on the 21st of January for a 12th of February delivery costing £43.95 which included their so-called chosen specified delivery date option. Well, the 12th of February came and went no hamper.

I contacted Hamperwell via email the same day asking where the hamper was and also letting them know I and my partner were travelling for Valentine's Day and could they ensure that the delivery came beforehand this was after another email was sent on the morning of 13th when again the hamper had not arrived

I was met with no reply again and I now know why! because they don't care this is standard practice for them as the hamper to my disgust and disappointment arrived on 15th a day after the special day.

Without opening it I immediately requested to return it for a refund following their returns procedure despite hamperwells policy of re-charging you for a return delivery in addition to a 10% return charge meaning I would receive back £33.00 and change back I was still prepared to accept the loss out of principle.

Can you believe somebody was home as Hamperwell the next day just sent a generic reply refusing my returns request?

Companies like these are a disgrace to online companies that genuinely try to meet customers who pay their hard-earned money to make the one they care about feel special needs
Hamper NOT SO WELL ARE AND UNCARING FRAUDLENT BUNCH WHO HAVE ONE AIM to scam you out of your money and once they have it to keep it regardless of they're Fu.… up. Please AVOID THESE IRRESPONSIBLE SCAMMERS AT ALL COST.
