Hammond Garage Doors were exactly right for me and my Hormann auto door!
My garage door would not open on automatic but the drive belt did go round. Thinking that (as an retired engineer) it could easily be fixed in the usual technical manner, I dismantled the drive boom and inspected for a fault but found nothing - the remote worked OK but the drive mechanism on the 'boom' did not seem to connect. After several weeks of thinking and fiddling I felt that some better expertise was required as I had no design info or guidance to set the auto system up and investigate deeper. On contacting several garage door contacts on Google without any success - (no response from any) - I finally tried Hammond with immediate success! Misty contacted me almost immediately and we quickly arranged a date for a free inspection. Well, the lady was amazing and very knowledgeable and I immediately felt confident in her approach. After doing some tests on the closing mechanism, she ran the system several times and then noticed that the drive belt stop block was not engaging in the belt so she quickly switched off and moved the boom door 'puller' several times to reset the unit's limits and it worked! I was delighted and and saw that the door was now operating as normal. All this took about 40 minutes! Hammond's website was very helpful and provided the details I needed to communicate with them. Misty was very helpful, communicated well and clearly had lots of experience of such systems and I would not hesitate to highly recommend her and Hammond Garage Doors, without reservation. She also looked at my other (very old) precast garage and gave me advice and a free quote for a roller shutter door. All this only cost me a minimal fee and I would rate the service as 5 star! Lovely couple came to see our electric roller garage door that wasn’t working. It was only a minor thing I’d somehow managed to switch the electrics off to the door! Nevertheless they gave us some very useful information on how to solve any future problems that may occur. They just charged for their expenses which made me think this is a decent company with moral values which is rare today

Wow wow wow!!! What can I say, arranged an appointment, yesterday, to request a quote to repair my father's dented garage door, came today, fixed it no quibbling or ifs or buts, and left, very happy father after he's been waiting 6 weeks for the original installer to even come out to quote!!!! Excellent service from misty, would recommended 100% keep up the good work, very professional!!!!

What a fantastic service, called in the morning desperate as my garage door wouldn’t come down… within a couple of hours they were at my door no dramas no sharp intakes of breath…. This could be expensive. Just good honest people, did the job professionally and sensibly priced

Had Contacted them on WhatsApp app and sent pictures over regarding the issues with my garage door bracket which had got bent meaning metal was rubbing when opening the doors. They came over very quickly and sorted the problem. They were very patient in explaining what needed doing and what had caused the issue. They were polite and efficient all the time they were here…. I recommend them highly.
