My experience with both Guidomaggi & Emmanuele was more than 5/5.
The shoes are absolutely gorgeous, with very high craftsmanship feel. One major worry with wearing elevator shoes is if they would be comfortable enough to wear.

Guidomaggi shoes don't even feel like elevator shoes. I bought the budapest boots and they look like regular boots, only with a slightly higher heel (and much better quality than most boots).

Emmanuele is also very prompt to reply usually, and you will not feel like you are doing business; rather you'd feel like you are talking to a dear friend.

I would recommend Guidomaggi to every guy, even those who are not looking for elevator shoes.

Desde el primer segundo en que llamé para pedir consejo sobre las alturas y los detalles del calzado, la atención fue inmejorable. ¡Emanuele es un verdadero encanto y un profesional de altísimo nivel!

¡LA CALIDAD ES DE OTRO PLANETA! Son increíblemente ligeros, los acabados son impecables y la rapidez con la que ha llegado el pedido ha sido de récord absoluto. De verdad que el servicio es fantástico, no te lo puedes creer hasta que lo vives.

Mixed feelings.
I purchased two pairs of shoes:
Griante: beautiful Denim shoes, excellent material, nothing to say about the quality. One thing I didn't expect is that they run quite warm.. they look like summer shoes but they actually hold in a lot of heat, arguably too much. Another thing that came out after some use is that they became noisy.. when walking you hear a friction sound. Not the end of the world, but worth mentioning. Lastly, the laces are excessively long. Once tied, there was too much material trailing on the ground, so I had to buy new laces. Overall positive, but what changes the equation is the price. For a 500+ euro shoe I'd expect something close to perfection, which definitely wouldn't come with the (small?) issues I ran into.

Mosquito Bay sandals: a different story, unfortunately. To be fair, they're very nice and well finished, but the material of the upper part, the section in contact with the skin, is rough, maybe cut a little too sharp. The result is that as long as I used them at home they were fine, but on longer walks they became very uncomfortable because of the friction, and they gave me blisters on my feet. I also tried soft stickers applied to the upper part of the shoe, but they don't help much.. and these are noisy when walking too, with all sorts of friction making a sort of "squashh squashh" sound. So same conclusion: for footwear at this price point, the last thing I expect is wounds on my feet.
On the positive side, the Guido Maggi support, Emanuele, has always been efficient and tried to solve various issues between logistics and payments. All good there.
Bottom line: given the problems I encountered and the very high price, I won't be buying Guido Maggi shoes again.

They have the best quality, great service, they are careful about what the customer wants and do everything to ensure the customer is satisfied.

I received my Coachella boots today and what craftsmanship, quality and fit that are. I am now looking at the website to buy my next pair.
I recommend Guidomaggi very highly and am truly grateful to them and the 5 star customer service. Thank you to all the team at Guidomaggi. You have a new lifelong customer.

To be honest, I was quite worried about ordering shoes online especially as Guido Maggi is from Italy and I live all the way from the land down under. However, Emanuele (I think he is the owner?) was very responsive when I messaged him on Whatsapp; when I had plenty of queries, he was patient. He also guided me in measuring my feet so the shoes I ordered could be customised, and not just the sizes in the website. Sure enough, when I finally got my shoes, they’re very comfy and fit really well. The deerskin leather is soft on my wide feet, and the construction is high quality. These elevators shoes did cost me quite a penny, but you pay for premium quality Italian craftsmanship and materials. I’ll slowly save money as I’m eyeing a pair of Lenox boots for next time lol.

Amazing experience dealing with GuidoMaggi from very beginning right after putting the order they contacted me to make sure the size it correct and even recommended few things, afterwards they even helped with some issue that came across which was not even their responsibility and the shoes were really amazing quality and comfortable to walk in. 10/10 customer service and 10/10 product will definitely place more orders and recommend.

My Guido Maggi shoes are by far my favorite shoes that I have in my shoe rotation. They are so comfortable and offer incredibly support for your feet. They are also insanely stylish and unique. I’ve gotten so many more compliments on my GM’s than I have for any other shoe brand that I own. They also definitely help you feel more confident. I think the best part of Guido Maggi though is their customer service. Emanuele, the business owner, responds to each and every message I send him, and he is PROMPT. I had so many questions in the beginning. But he is very friendly, patient, and walked me through the whole process (as someone ordering from the US). I cannot recommend Guido Maggi enough. I will definitely be buying more
