Grounding of Sweden 

Bought their shoes. Total snake oil, cheap and tacky doesn’t even come close. An awful product all round. Will try and get a refund, but who knows how that will go. I’d avoid this company like the plague.

I've only tried to wear these shoes once. Why? Because they were hard for me to put on. I can't bend over very well and depend on the tongue of the shoe to be able to be grabbed and slipped onto my foot so I can then use my index finger to slip the back on. I had to have my wife put them on me. Did they feel good? Yes! I just wish I could have put them on myself.

I bought these shoes because of their claims around pain relief and better sleep - "pain free forever," "deeper, calmer sleep." Unfortunately, after wearing them only three times, they significantly increased my lower-back pain and caused plantar fasciitis and pain behind my knee, keeping me awake at night.

I have flat feet and then saw that many who had the same condition had the same experience with these shoes.

I contacted the company and explained, I would not have purchased the shoes had they flagged this issue (that they obviously knew about in their subsequent communications with me). Their solution was either to return the shoes unused, at my expense, for a full refund (even though they knew I had worn them) —or keep them and receive a 20% refund.

The obvious problem is: how do you discover shoes cause you pain without wearing them?

They were not willing to stand by their marketing promises.

To their credit, they did honour the 20% refund. However, I have still paid 80% of the price for shoes I can't use. Suffered substantial pain and wasted a lot of time trying to get them to have a moral compass!

Very disappointing given the claims made for the product.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE FLAT FEET!!!

I accidentally ordered from them because I got caught in the lure. I meant to order from grounding well, not them. I immediately went to cancel order, but not a link to do so. I emailed them immediately to CANCEL and haven't yet heard back. I don't trust companies that trap the buyer with no way to cancel. UPDATE: They cancelled & refunded & were very nice about it and wanted my feedback as to why so they could improve. The time difference is why they hadn't responded.

I would give a higher review because the shoes are comfortable, but the copper came out the first day I wore them. I'm adding to this review. I never received the extra rivets that I hear Other People received. I will be reaching out to the company.

I ordered the Grounding of Sweden grounding barefoot shoes because they looked like the “Hike”brand barefoot shoes that I have and love, but with the added advantage of being grounded.

When they arrived I found that they are an exact copy of the Hike shoes but with no logo on the tongue, a slightly stiffer sole, and a cheap, thin, brass rivet for grounding. I took the foam insoles out, as they did not allow effective grounding.

After being worn for a few days, one of the rivets lost its inner half, so I replaced to with one of the pair of extra rivets that had come with the shoes. No hammer needed - it just popped together with the press of a thumb! That’s why so many reviews say they break apart!

Both the Hike and the Grounding of Sweden barefoot shoes have rows of holes - three under the heel and five across the ball of the foot. So at my husband’s suggestion I threaded a strand of copper wire through the holes across the ball of the foot, and passed it back under each stitch on the outside, and started wearing them.

I just came back from shopping. The wire has flattened out nicely and I can hardly feel it under my foot. It only took 15 minutes to do, and I’m going to wire the other shoe too!

When the wires break with wear I’ll pull them out with needle-nose pliers and stitch new wire in :)

I will also hammer real copper rivets into the heels to replace the breakable brass ones.

I love how I can walk in the shoes, but the copper element keeps breaking off

I have had it on my bed for four days and the arthritis in my left ankle has stopped being swollen by noon every day and the pain is much less than before the grounding sheet. My back pain has lessoned and I look forward to it stopping completely. I am also getting more REM and deep sleep than before. I have been tracking my sleep for almost a year.

I really love the sheets and pillow sheet, I sleep better, my neck always hurted in the morning, since I use grounding it is normal and without headaches, the body is a little better in the morning without pain. I already bought the shoes and today I am buying another pair in black colour.

Superb at false marketing but I didn't get what I thought I was getting. Be careful my sheet is not fit for purpose and the company would not refund me....

I found this company always available and ready to help. They were very quick to respond when I decided not to keep my order and my refund was completed promptly and without hassle. I would definitely recommend them.

I recently ordered a grounding sheet based on my bed dimensions, expecting a standard fitted sheet. Instead, it arrived as a flat overlay sheet that just sits on top of the mattress with zero excess fabric to tuck in. As a result, it scrunches up constantly during the night.

To make matters worse, their website prominently advertises a "FREE product" option (such as a grounding mat) right on the product page. I explicitly selected the free mat during checkout, but it was omitted from my delivery. When I reached out to customer support with screenshot evidence of their live website offer, they refused to honor the promotion or send the missing item, simply claiming it didn't register on the final receipt summary due to their checkout system.

While customer service eventually issued a 30% partial refund after I complained about the sheet design and missing item, the experience has been very frustrating. Between the misleading product sizing, dark-pattern promotional tricks at checkout, and unwillingness to fulfill advertised items, I would advise looking elsewhere.

It took a couple of days before I could feel any benefit.after the third or fourth day, I found that I was falling asleep within a couple of minutes. And if waking to go to the bathroom, I have no problem going back to sleep. I also wake up more refreshed.
I would recommend anyone to get a Grounding Sheet or Mat.

First night with the grounding sheets slept better only woke up once compared to 3 or 4 times. In the morning the pain in my right shoulder was gone, the swelling in my knee isnt as bad. Fourth night woke up on the morning with more energy!
A must have for people with aches n pain.

We found this company very good to deal with. Very responsive with answering our emails and very kind with offering replacement shoes if those delivered were too tight. Their delivery service is slow so one must be patient. The products are good and, yes, the grounding sheet, pillow slips and mat are definitely having a good effect on our lives. Thank you Grounding of Sweden!

Came w extra copper tabs with no instructions about where they should be.
They are very light. Not sure how long they will last.
When sending a question they responded quickly.

Misrepresentation of product. If you are expecting a well-researched product from Scandinavia, you will be disappointed. Stick with Amazon for buyer confidence.

Grounding sheets have no way of staying in place. No corner straps to help it stay in place well sleeping. Sheet bunches up. Tried contacting the company and they will not respond or return my money. Beware
