Unhealthy plant
Its not even a month but the plant you have given me was having so much brown leaves and its drying out.i removed dead stem from the soil and it pulled easily and doesn't have any root in it. Its so disappointing. Not worth the price. If only theres option to return it.

Dear Madel. Thank you for raising your concern with us. As diagnosed by our team through the WhatsApp conversation, the plant rot is a result of over watering and limited light exposure. As advised, kindly move the plant to a more brighter spot and water the Areca once the top 2 inches of the soil gets dry (we also recommend a water meter for better monitoring). The Areca plant was delivered with brown leaves, so I'm a little disappointed with that. Its not a worry, we will bring her back to life but I wish I was given a healthy plant. Please also take care while they are in your custody.

Dear Anita, as per your clarification on WhatsApp, we understand the brown leaves weren’t there at the time of delivery. Thank you for clarifying. We take utmost care to ensure we thoroughly check the plants before delivery. Having established that, we discussed the possible reasons for why the leaves started browning. As advised, Areca Palms need bright indirect light. The initial placement of the plant was too far away from the light source, and naturally, the leaves start turning brown as that’s a sign of the plant communicating to us that she isn’t happy with the place. Also, as advised, during the process of the Areca settling in the new place, some old leaves will turn brown and eventually dry out. The key is to keep a close watch on the baby leaves, if the baby leaves open up, that’s a sign of a healthy Areca Palm settled in its new place. Don’t hesitate to reach us on WhatsApp at 0526261977 in case you need any further assistance. We were also happy to hear that the other plants were settling well. We wish you Happy Plant Parenting.
