This was our first river boat cruise. It was an amazing experience. We made new friends, had 5 star dining every night and cruised down the Danube River from Passau to Vienna. Unfortunately, the draught in Europe caused the Danube to be so low that the ship could not get to Budapest which was our final destination. But the management team worked out bus and rail transportation and worked tirelessly to solve the problem. We were on the Amadeus Cara and you want that ship. The cabin was organized perfectly. We were able to easily get all our luggage removed and organized from the suitcases. We even had a walk in closet with a full length mirror. The shower pressure was better than any hotel we have stayed in! The first picture is a square from Munich. The second is of the Amadeus Cara. The third is St. Stephens Cathedral in Vienna

We enjoyed our vacation very much. Kudos to all of the staff, who had to handle delays, low water levels. Birthday surprise for my husband. My only criticism is the food was way too salty for my taste, especially at dinner time.

Ship was immaculate, crew was great, and the trip will well organized. GRJ did a good job to assist us with alternative accommodations when we could not go all the way to Budapest due to low water conditions. have used them for two cruises and would use them again.
