Our travels required us to jump from bus to train numerous times. It seems Amtrak doesn't have the political clout to force the owner of an abandoned warehouse to remove track hazards from his property. The Amtrak stations lock their restroom doors requiring travelers to jump through hoops to relieve themselves. The hotel the company set us was okay. We did have a plumbing issue in our first room, but they moved us to another room.
