I had not eaten liver since I was a child and my grandmother prepared it, but I was told I had low iron and my doc told me to try eating this. Well I looked at my local grocery and just could not bring myself to buy from there, knowing what I do about the unhealthy practices of processed meat. This liver looks so fresh. It's not that grey stuff you find squished against the glass at some carnecerias. It has that good'ol liver flavor, but honestly much less, more palatable, than other market livers I've had. The liver is also much more dense, not spongy and tearing apart. Cooks great too!
