SCAM! 100% After messaging you on Upwork, they will push you to fill out a survey, sign into a website, then when you complete the task they block you from the website and from getting your pay. They do not give you any reasons or proof as to why, only that there was some "fraudulent behavior detected." Or some other vague excuse. The agent will also stop replying to messages as soon as you complete the task. (Not using my account related email for this comment since they will try and not take any accountability)

Complete waste of my time. I was recruited though user interviews for a survey on personal finances. I gave identical answers to the screener on Userinterviews and was immediately disqualified. It would seem they are recruiting just as a ploy to get people to sign up. Needless to say they will probably reply and claim they can’t find my account. The reason for that being I have already deleted it because I don’t want to deal with dubious companies like this.

What a waste of time. I spent time filling in my profile and did the first survey.
The next day they rejected my answer with NO justification of reasons given.
They'll take your data and, happily, not pay out.

Extremely dissatisfied considering the other better options out there that run their business in a more honest way.

The nerve of this company. You spend your time answering their long survey. You've been invited over from another platform. You do the screening questionaire. You pass that. Now comes the 15min survey where you will be paid £5. For £5 I take 15mins out of my day to take my time going through their questions on Pensions and AI. The audacity of this company to then reject the survey a day later so not only getting my answers but they choose to pay you nothing. Absolutely disgraceful. Hence 1 star to you GrapeData.

This company approached me to complete a survey so I completed the screening questions and went through the rigmarole to complete the survey, they reject it without reason. They had the audacity to engage me only to waste my time. Worthless - don't bother with them.

After you give them what needed. They will say "We’ve reached the maximum number of participants."

Great client to work with. The research questionnaire was clear, well-organized, and easy to complete. Communication was smooth, expectations were straightforward, and payment was handled professionally. I would be happy to work with this client again.

This company is a complete scam. They send daily emails inviting you to participate in studies that take at least 15 minutes, often requiring you to be on video and share personal or business information. Their website claims payments are issued within 48 hours, but after waiting a full month, I still hadn’t received anything.
When I reached out, they changed their story, saying payments can take over 30 days. After following up again, they changed their story yet again, saying that the reason it had taken so long was due to technical difficulties they had been experiencing (for a month?), and further claimed my submission was disqualified for “quality control” reasons, without providing any clear explanation—meaning they refused to pay me at all.
I’ve since seen many similar reviews from others reporting the same experience. Despite this, they continue to send emails encouraging participation and promising payment that never comes through. Do not waste your time, and do not share your personal or business information with this company. This appears to be nothing more than a phishing operation.
UPDATE: April 29, 2026 - I have viewed the company's response below and while they try to make it seem as if they take this seriously, THEY DO NOT. I had already contacted Customer Service twice before posting my initial review and they are not responsive and continue to lie. Notice the vague terms they use, "strict processes", "established review and quality control procedures" and "verification requirements", and "predefined criteria", however they never tell you WHAT those processes, procedures, requirements and criteria are, they just use it as an umbrella statement to protect themselves. I am one of thousands of people they have scammed, it's not just me.
UPDATE: April 29, 2026 - You have posted a second reply after deleting your first, and this second reply of yours is also vague and incorrect. YOU ARE A SCAM and you asked TrustPilot to remove my review. I will not remove it and I will continue to repost everywhere on the Internet BECAUSE YOU ARE A SCAM. My claims ARE, in fact, aligned with what you did to me and thousands of others.

Grapedata collects your data, and then terminates the contract with $0 payment, no warning, no feedback. They cite "errors" in your submission and then refuse to provide any evidence or respond to messages. Total waste of time and professional resources.

Good platform but delay in payments, and That sucks for sure.. Good are the times they used to be transparent nowadays I feel like they aren't as much as supportive.

You spamming us with no payments nawadays and you just accept tasks depending on your moods.

Never take their surveys, especially if they offer to do so through Upwork. They will then reject your survey and automatically give you a bad review on the platform, thereby lowering your rating!

I earn 20euros by answering a survey that’s great!
