Very knowledgeable and friendly. Perfect for me - someone just about to dip their toe in the all grain pool. There was everything there that I wanted and they should be getting some gluten-free kits in soon.

I've used Goodlife Homebrew a number of times, and whenever I've had any questions (even after buying) they have been most accommodating! I'd recommend them to anyone.

Some time ago my enthusiasm for homebrew dipped and, with the lack of a decent centre for supplies and advice, eventually died. I happened upon Goodlife Homebrew by chance some years ago and immediately got the bug again. The premises were seemingly no more than a chaotic jumble of brew paraphanalia but the enthusiasm of Paul and the way he presented his vision of the future of DIY brewing flicked a switch in my head. Fast forward to today and the shop has transformed into a paradise for not only beer and wine but spirits and foodstuffs. What these chaps don't know is, frankly, not worth knowing. Friendly, knowledgeable and enthusastic, the silliest question is met with a detailed and unpatronising answer. My garage is now the chaotic home of all manor of beer and winemaking paraphanalia, thanks to Paul and his team!

I found the website fairly user friendly. An item I looked and searched for had a completely different name ie 'screw cap' - you need to type 'pet bottle'. Not being in the trade would never have searched under this name. However - I did contact customer service who told me what to search for. Very helpful/useful. The items arrived very quickly and were well packaged. I would definitely recommend this company and hope they allow searches to be more user friendly in the future

Always friendly and helpful. We visit the store and have used their post delivery (for the occassion when the delivery date was before we could get up there); we have never been disappointed! The only bad thing is now they offer even more to choose from! I thought my choices were troublesome when there was beer, wine, spirits and preserving....but now they have added cheese, yoghurt and butter...and pickles and sauerkraut and meat curing...and...and...and....
I guess if I read all the books and learn to use everything I will be self sufficient when the zombie apocalypse comes.

I got some ginger wine essence which I remember since I was a kid growing up on the west coast of Scotland. I received the order very quickly and had a great sale, however I was very disappointed in the product as it was a bit disappointing to find that it didn't quite taste like the ginger wine I was used to. Oh we'll, it was still ok but needed more of the ginger in there to give it that warmth.

it was my first visit, and the help was superb, and I will defo be going again.
