We had a wonderful experience with Good Earth Tours from start to finish. Our guide James was amazing!!

Our family of four did a private safari with Good Earth tours and had a fabulous time. We did 6 nights/7 days in Serengeti. We were lucky to get Obeid as our guide. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and made sure we had a great experience. We got to see the migration river crossing! Planned the itinerary with Arif and later Vainess took over at Arusha. They arranged two private dinners for our daughter’s birthdays and were very memorable. I would recommend Good Earth to our friends without any hesitation.

Our family of five—two adults and our three children, ages 21, 17, and 12—recently traveled to Tanzania with Good Earth Tours, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience.

Before booking, I researched and spoke with several safari companies. I ultimately chose Good Earth Tours because of their outstanding reviews and because, from my very first conversation with them, I felt comfortable and confident that our family would be taken care of. Their communication before our trip was absolutely five-star.

Everything was seamless from beginning to end. They helped with the payment process, sent reminders about visas and travel requirements, gave us advice about luggage, and answered every question I had. When we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport, transportation was waiting for us, and the following morning we were picked up at our hotel in Arusha to begin our safari.

Before leaving, a Good Earth representative met us in the hotel lobby, reviewed our entire itinerary, and answered any last-minute questions. Then we walked outside and met two people who would become such an important part of our experience—our incredible safari guide, Abu, and our cameraman, Aries.

They even gave each of us reusable water bottles and safari hats. My husband had kept telling me before the trip, “Don't buy a safari hat—you'll never wear it.” Well… I wore that hat CONSTANTLY! 😂 It was such a thoughtful and useful gift.

We began at Tarangire National Park, and almost immediately we were seeing wildlife. It was incredible!

One of our days included a village walk and a visit to an orphanage. That experience touched our entire family deeply. Seeing the children, spending time with them, and understanding some of their needs gave us a completely different perspective on how fortunate we are and how much more we can do to help others.

Then came Ngorongoro Crater, which was probably my favorite place of the entire safari. Driving through the lush forest and then suddenly looking down into this enormous, breathtaking crater filled with wildlife felt like something out of a movie. I don't think pictures can capture how beautiful it really is.

From there, we continued to a Maasai village and Serengeti National Park, and this is where I honestly don't even know how to describe everything we experienced.

We saw the Big Five and so much more. We saw cheetahs, a leopard, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and countless other animals. We were also fortunate enough to witness the Great Migration. There were moments when it genuinely felt like we were watching National Geographic happen right in front of us.

I truly believe so much of what we were able to see was because of Abu. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals—their behavior, where they were likely to be, when we should wait, and when we needed to move. He knew when to be patient and when to go somewhere else. Somehow, he continually put us in the right place at the right time. We felt like we didn't miss anything!

Seeing the cheetahs and leopard was incredible, and witnessing the Great Migration was something I will never forget.

At the end of our safari, Good Earth Tours arranged our bush flight to Zanzibar, where we spent another three days relaxing before heading home. It was the perfect ending to an unforgettable adventure.

If you're considering an African safari, I would absolutely recommend Good Earth Tours. From the planning and communication before we ever left home, to the transportation, accommodations, safari experience, and wonderful employees who took care of our family, everything felt organized and effortless.

Traveling internationally with three children can come with plenty of moving parts, but Good Earth Tours allowed us to simply enjoy the experience and make memories together.

The booking process with Good Earth and the follow up with important reminders were really good. The guides were very knowledgeable of the all the parks and they took us to right spots to see the animals and especially to witness the great migration from Serengeti to Maasai Mara. They were very patient as well. And the camps were very good, clean, with great food and amazing customer service. They welcomed my son and I with so much joy! . The people of Africa are the best!. My son and I had an unforgettable safari!!

Do not use good earth tours communication from joshaua or barrack is terrible we ended up having to handle many problems that we should not have had to, when you called for help no answer or if joshaua did it was let me check, our trip was moved around without our permission so we lost a free day of shopping. We were not informed of many things our luggage was drug through the dirt and damaged my 81 year old father n law was supposed to be accommodated for his age but they set his room upstairs and long ways away from camp , after they get the money your pretty much on your own terrible service i will continue to let everyone know about our experience

Safari was amazing.

I had read many reviews, for many companies, before choosing which company I wanted to use for our bucket list trip. My daughter and I have been trying to plan this for 15 years and it's finally happening! I want this trip to be incredible and so far it has exceeded my expectations and I'm only in the beginning of the booking stages.

Mike Phanuel is our Safari Planner and has been so enthusiastic and helpful in listening to what we want this trip to be. He has revised our itinerary multiple times and replies same day to any questions we may have. He shows excitement when he communicates with us.

It was fantastic, seeing animals up close and busy! Our guide, Elisia (sp?) was so knowledgeable and seemed to know all the trails. We got prime spots to see the action. The tent camps were wonderful (especially Jackals Lair) and so welcoming. You get used to the "African Massage", and all the dust. Wonderful

This was the most incredible experience! Elias was a phenomenal guide who made sure everything went smoothly. The itinerary for the small group tour was very well planned and enjoyable. As a solo female traveler, I felt very comfortable and enjoyed this trip immensely! I’m already looking to plan another!

We had a great experience with Good Earth Tours from the first moment of contact with planning and booking with Brenda, Joshua taking over once booked guiding us through the process and answering so many questions (and even encouraging me as I tried to learn some swahili!), to our AMAZING guide and now friend Patrick who's guidance, education, and patience gave us so many lifetime experiences we will never, ever forget from the moment we met till the moment we said a very fond "see you again my friend".

The lodges were all spectacular in their own unique way, the food fantastic, and everyone on staff knew your name and treated you like you were a long time customer they'd known for years.

And the places we saw, the things we did, from Nairobi, Aberdare, Ol Pejeta, Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, and Lake Naivasha.... speechless at the experiences we were so fortunate to have. Everyday game drive brought new excitement and never got boring.

I also highly recommend if you truly want to see the heart of Kenya don't just fly from park to park. You will see animals, yes, but the true culture and heartbeat of Kenya lies in the cities and towns and people between the parks.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Good Earth Tours. From start to finish, everything was handled so professionally and with such care. The team was extremely friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. Our safari was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Elias. He was outstanding. So knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to answer all of our questions. You could really tell how passionate he is about what he does, and it made the experience even more special. We had a wonderful experience with Good Earth Tours! All the lodging was excellent and the guides were outstanding! We were with Fadhili for the majority of our trip and Salum for the last few days. Our safari with Good Earth Tours spanned across three countries and was an incredible experience from start to finish. The entire journey was thoughtfully organized, smooth, and truly unforgettable.

The highlights of our trip were in Tanzania, where we visited the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, explored Ndutu, and traveled through Serengeti National Park. Experiencing these iconic landscapes and ecosystems in person was beyond anything we had imagined. One of the most remarkable moments was seeing the Big Five on our very first day.

We were fortunate to witness many amazing wildlife encounters throughout the trip: a beautiful leopard resting in a tree, lions mating just an arm’s length away, a cheetah with her fresh kill, and the incredible sight of a leopard carefully stalking a reedbuck. These moments made the experience thrilling and deeply memorable.

What stood out most was the level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout the trip. Everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully relax and immerse ourselves in the magic of Africa.

Our guide was truly special, his level of knowledge of the terrain and the animals was beyond compare. He even went so far as to consider positioning us in the best place for photo lighting

Our 11-day Tanzania safari with Good Earth Tours was absolutely unforgettable. We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Ndutu, and the Serengeti, and every destination exceeded expectations.

Our guide Abu was outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and with a great sense of humor. He always found the best spots for wildlife viewing and photography and managed to tick every animal on our list, including both white and black rhinos.

Each place we stayed offered something special, whether it was the view, the service, or the food — all were excellent and thoughtfully chosen.

Good Earth Tours made a our trip easy and low stress. Our safari in Tanzania had lots of logistics, including lodging, separate tours with local guides, and an interior flight. The company handled all those logistics flawlessly, which made it easy for us to relax on our vacation.

We are planning a trip to Africa and started about one year ahead. We knew key locations we wanted to visit and that there were four of us traveling. Good Earth tours has done an excellent job of putting together our itinerary and providing us with all the information we need.We are so looking forward to our Safari in nine months and will let you know afterwards how wonderful it was.

The process has been incredibly smooth. The team has been more than cooperative working around our flights coming in. They are still quick to answer questions as they arise.
