Bad service, delay in delivery
I had a very frustrating and, frankly, shocking experience with Golf Discount.
When I placed my order, I was clearly told that the expected processing time for custom clubs was 10–14 business days (roughly up to 3 weeks). That timeline was a key factor in my purchase decision.
However, after a full week with no updates whatsoever, I had to proactively reach out myself to ask about the status — only then was I informed that the estimated delivery had been pushed to nearly 5 weeks. At no point was I notified in advance, which reflects a serious lack of communication.
A delay of that magnitude — more than 60% beyond the maximum timeframe originally stated — is not something any customer would reasonably expect. The situation feels, quite honestly, shocking.
What made this worse was the way the issue was handled. Responsibility was shifted to their supplier (Ping), as if that somehow removes accountability from Golf Discount as the seller. From a customer perspective, that is simply not acceptable. It comes across as a lack of ownership and a clear lack of respect for the customer.
There was no real solution offered, no meaningful alternative, and no effort to address the situation in a way that aligns with the original commitment or the customer’s needs. The overall experience felt dismissive and unprofessional.
I made a significant purchase based on the expectations that were clearly communicated, and this experience has fallen far short of those standards.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend purchasing from Golf Discount based on this experience.
