Gold Peck-er PAMM experience
Was part of a PAMM ran by two different Gold Peck-er bots (Gold Peck-er M5 A and B) where they used the platform of the broker: LongAsia.
Was part of the PAMM for about a week before the Martingale strategy that is part of the Gold Peck-er bots destroyed about 50% of my net deposit during a period of just a 1-2% volatility of the gold price. Needlessly to say I won’t be investing any money with them and glad I pulled out my remaining 50%.
Would have given a 2-star as the communication was alright, but honestly the strategies employed are so extremely bad that it wouldn’t justify it. Had to write Gold Peck-er due to the language requirements of Trustpilot.
Update 28-08-2024:
I am not going to be thankful for the fact that you included additional deposits so that I didn’t lose my full amount. You are trying to apply a reverse logic here implying I should be thankful while you, in the first place, put the PAMM in a position that it required additional deposit.
Let me further clear up the confusion so that you, as a PAMM manager, understand your responsibility:
Create an EA with appropriate settings so that investors have an appropriate risk/reward ratio and you effectively safeguard their capital.
I can’t wrap my head around the fact that you run a Martingale strategy, in the gold market, with so little equity in a PAMM account with such low intervals between opening new positions. It just shows me that you literally have no business acting as a PAMM manager or creating EA’s.

Hi Rutger Wijnker, appreciate your time on the review and regret on the experience. We hope the clarification given earlier was understandable, and we would like to explain here on what was happening to the accounts.
PAMM is also trading GOLD on Forex market as well, and result is highly depending on the Gold market condition as well. What happened to your account was, the drawdown was high in the PAMM account and to prevent the positions being stopped out when account is out of margin, we have no choice to add more fund into the account. While doing such action, we successfully prevent the funds from fully liquidated, but due to the profit allocation is based on percentage of fund deposited in the account, when the trades were recovered, profit shared that we received on our main account become higher, thus your account shared less profit but more loss from whatever positions opened, leading to the loss.
We have 2 options on such situation, which is either to add more fund to protect the fund, or to leave the account not funded but that would be extremely risky to take this action, we would definitely to protect the fund than to risk it for profit.
While on the positions and market movement, we will be able to share screenshots on how the market was volatile if any traders would like to know. We regret that this action to prevent the account from liquidated will causing trouble and from our end, we would reduce the risk of trading by lower the lot size to trade, while aiming for smaller ROI.

Overrated
After several months of usage of the Goldpecker, I think, marketing is better than product developement.
Of course - like in most EA´s or trading bots - it dependson your settings. So GoldPecker works great in ranging market, but it mostly fails misarably when it comes to high volatile market because of the entry of the first position on engulfing candles is way too stupid to succeed in long term.
On second and after positions, it manages the entry way better.
So you have to chose. Usually ca. 90% of the opened positions shall succeed without second and after position needed at all. But if you chose to set first positiontaking account of that fact, the Goldpecker lets you gain big in ranging market but it crashes your account when it comes to volatile market.
On the other hand - trying to avoid bigger risk - you set initial trade to smalles possible value, you may not lose your account three times a week but most days gain is too small to be mentioned.
We tried many Martingale EA´s/Trading-Bots so we have a lot of experience and can handle the issues of such a bot, but usual users will not profit at all.
Problem is - the concept of the bot is good and the possibilities to set it up are versatile. But the concept of entering a trade only relying on engulfing candles is way too simple and therefore nearly every second trade is opened in the wrong direction. In Martingale concept, this is initially no problem as in most cases the second position equals that issue. But when it comes to higher amplitude of movements Goldpecker (as most other Martingale EA´s) smashes your account as it keeps opening one position after another while market moves against your initial trade.
Unfortunately developers only look at their backtesting results and don´t have an eye on real market. We have made several proposals how to improve the algorhithm (and most of them would be easy to implement), but unfortunately they won´t listen and consider.
As long as the issue with the displaced entries isn´t solved, I cannot recommend buying the Goldpecker unless you have an account of >25K and are satisfied with gains of 50.- per day.
But if you want to lift your trading to the next level and look for a really reliable EA where you can be confident, you should look further.

The Gold Pecker EA has been experiencing improvision from the first time it was created since 2021. From the earliest version with less than half of current parameters, we tried our best to provide as much possible features to the users.
We appreciate your opinions shared and we have always compiled user experiences and shared to our developer, thus resulted in version updates until version 7.3 for now. We are sorry that our EA is unable to predict the market movement, as the entry is based on market existing trend, along with the support of several indicators.
We would still keep our EA updated to a better version perhaps and the short future to make sure better trading experience of all of our users. We deeply appreciate any feedbacks given to us so that we would be able to improve.
