After the horrendous storm force winds that hit the Scottish Borders, the estate were i manage, was hit badly, 15 trees where scattered, toppled and smashed over the front lawns, having been a tree surgeon myself for 30 years, I could do some of the work myself but last year I almost died of sepis and knew my limits, so the estate owners wanted a good professional tree surgeon brought in to clear the remaining trees, we had worked with Gavin's brother two years previously sorting out trees from another storm, I asked Gavin for a quote , Gavin was quick to respond and via photos , videos and a site visit, Gavin didn't fail to let his family name down, he was polite , knowledgeable, and friendly, we discussed the owners wishes and my recommendations to avoid damage to the delicate lawn surface, Gavin was happy to accommodate our wishes and we agreed a plan of action , in order that I could do pre works to make his job easier and more directed, a quote was received that night, in all communications, Gavin answered first time and was so polite. On the day of the agreed work day, Gavin and his co worker, Liam, turned up on time, everyone was briefed on toilet and refreshment arrangements, and we started work, Gavin's work machines , where well maintained, clean and sharp, both of them had the correct safety equipment and conducted the chainsawing, chipping and grinding, professionally, methodically and safely, causing no damage to the owners lawns. I was very impressed with Gavin and Liam's work rate , ethics and achieved all the goals which where laid out in the quote, I wouldn't hesitate in using Gavin and his company for tree and landscaping work again in the future, thank you for your hard work.

Gavin was amazing. He helped us through any obstacles and worked with flexibility when confronted with any challenges from 3rd parties. I could not recommend Gavin enough. We have recently had our new build garden landscaped by GM Land and we are really delighted with the result.
Gavin took our fairly detailed layout plan, spent time understanding what we were hoping to achieve and based on his experience suggested some practical ideas for improvement.
Gavin and his team were totally professional, friendly, hard-working and tidy. They turned up when they said they would, provided regular updates on the work and had a fantastic work ethic even during some rotten weather conditions.
When the odd minor issue did arise, Gavin clearly explained the problem and discussed the pros and cons of possible solutions before going on to resolve them.
We would not hesitate to approach GM Land again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

We’ve just had our garden landscaped by GM Land Solutions and we can’t praise their work enough. Gavin and his team provided an excellent service: polite, tidy at all times, always within the time scale promised and a great work ethic is just what you would want. Gavin’s help in deciding the best solution for a garden with a very steep slope and in selecting plants for us was perfect and the end product is very satisfactory indeed. We can now enjoy our garden and look forward to spending many happy hours in it.

Had these guys look after our estate common areas for a while now. I dont think we get value for money and just use the leaf blower to blow all the clippings or debris about, a brush and shovel is more proffesional. Also they really know how to take there time as I've watched them working lots of times and extended tea breaks and going slower than slow seams to be the norm. Dont these companies realise the people paying the wages are the customers they are working for. No added value on this contract either the bare minimum is done. Never seen any actual proper rubbish collection done, just bring out the leaf blower

Absolutely delighted with the work done by Gavin and team at GM land solutions. Right from the outset when quoting, Gavin was very helpful and had a lot of ideas that allowed us to develop what we had in mind for the area into an actual plan. We were removing an old shed, excavating the area on and around the shed and putting in retaining walls and slabbing the area in order to put a new shed in. Gavin and Mark were on time, hardworking, very friendly and approachable and provided regular updates on the work along with problem solving ideas, all this whilst maintaining social distancing and following measures to ensure safety was paramount in light of the current worldwide situation. The standard of work is first class and they were a pleasure to deal with. Would highly recommend.

We saw GM land Solutions working in a Neighbour’s Garden. We are delighted with the Work that they have done on ours. A real cull of old and overgrown Shrubs, a new Fence etc. They worked hard. Here each morning. Worked till they achieved what they had to do. They turned up when they said they would. A Massive plus in my opinion, not something that has happened very often in my experience.

Gavin's team started work on agreed date and maintained excellent time keeping throughout the construction of the garden.
The project was primarily hard landscaping, namely a new patio, rendered retaining and feature walls and decking utilising modern materials, as well as grading and turfing.
The team followed the desired design plans and discussed and suggested details to enhance the final design.
Overall the standard of workmanship is excellent and the team were courteous and a pleasure to deal with.

Absolutely over the moon with our new garden. Gavin and his team transformed a weed infested plot of land into a garden to be proud of - we even love cutting our grass now!! Highly recommend Gavin and his team thank you 😊
