Not waterproof unfortunately
Delivery and communication excellent. However the Portwest Dermiflex Waterproof gloves are unfortunately not waterproof. I rinsed out a couple of cloths and water went through the glove on to my hand. I run a window cleaning business so these gloves aren’t suitable for the purpose for which they were purchased,

I’ve examined the glove and there is no visible sign of any tear. When I rinsed the cloth the water was going through all of the palm area and making my hands wet.

The gardening gloves were fine
The gardening gloves were fine. I had bought the same gloves 4 years earlier, from a local garden centre. The problems arose from the delivery time. The company quoted a delivery date about a week after the initial order. It happened to be a Friday. Tracking the delivery on Royal Mail site showed that they acknowledged the item had been posted on the Tuesday. Ok so far, except that was the only information given right past the expected delivery date. Through Saturday and Sunday, no change - “item posted expected at Royal Mail soon.” Then, on Monday pm the message changed to “ item received at main hub.” This was all I was told until the message at last changed to say it was at the local delivery office, and would be delivered between 12:25 and 15:25. At 18:00 it was delivered. Next time I’ll get another pair locally.

Whilst I am pleased to hear that you are happy with the gloves you purchased, I am disappointed that we were both let down by Royal Mail.
We received your order on 1 July during the evening, after our warehouse had closed for the day. We therefore dispatched your order the following morning.
Royal Mail collected your parcel, along with a significant number of parcels for our other customers and they temporarily lost them.
The parcels had not been scanned, so the tracking information showed as 'We're expecting it' so whilst it looked as though we had not sent your order, this was certainly not the case.
Royal Mail eventually found the parcels at their main mail centre in London and distributed them to their local delivery centres around the country.
The outcome was that orders arrived with our customers a week later than expected.
I am very sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this caused you.
If you do need anything further, please let us know and we will do everything we can to help you.

I am very sorry for the delay with the delivery of your order.
I requested additional information from you to help me to find your order and investigate your feedback thoroughly. However, to-date I have not received a reply from you.
However, we did experience an issue recently where Royal Mail temporarily lost a large number of the parcels we dispatched on a particular day, and it is likely that your order was amongst these parcels.
Royal Mail collect our outgoing orders from our warehouse, and they take them to their main London Mail Centre, where they are scanned and entered into the delivery process.
These parcels are held in cages until they go through the scanning process and until then, they will show on the Royal Mail tracking service as 'We're expecting it'.
As Royal Mail misplaced a number of these cages, the deliveries did not proceed.
We have raised this with Royal Mail and are awaiting their feedback.
I am very sorry for the delay you experienced and for any inconvenience this caused you.
