Very poor management, they delay the refunds on purpose and don’t respond back at all. Dont apply to this university

Worst university experience, lack of support, poor planning, no understanding, no help, and not proper explanation just reading from slides, do not go to this university waste of your money

I signed up for a degree course and managed 1 1/2 years before giving up on it. The facilities are very limited - ‘lectures’ were frequently held in rooms too small for the group, in freezing cold or with other groups working noisily close by. Onsite catering is limited and expensive. Lecture content was very thin and frequently quite irrelevant to course objectives. But the worse aspect was the dictatorial culture of the teaching staff. There is a kind of sixth-form ‘let's pretend we’re all adults’ approach. Do as expected and conform and you can get along fine. But challenge or ask too many questions and staff will get tetchy and sarcastic. Student centred learning is a concept that simply isn’t understood or practiced in my experience. The student support services, are, on the other-hand, very good - easy to access and helpful. Their advice on how to leave the course and limit the financial loss was very much appreciated.

Extremely disappointed with the help from Gloucestershire University. No understanding of student struggles whatsoever. No email answers, although they say they take them in order, some of my colleagues who emailed after me got a reply and I still haven't. Nobody answered the phone, and when finally did after sending 3 emails and leaving a voice message, they denied any help. No empathy and absolutely no interest in helping the students. Also not only they have denied any help, but they haven't even tried to help with other advice. Zero interest, but money is welcomed. Shame on them. Avoid this university.

Atrocious university.
A long time ago I studied here for a degree in sports coaching. You would class this subject as practical. Yet I only completed 2 practical assessments in the three years I was there. I have achieved nothing with my life apart from allow them to put me in debt. No coaching job and no sports associated career. No help during my studies. Lecturers would literally put a PowerPoint up making them Non worthy of their teaching status.
