From the first contact with Charly Jacob at Globe Travel Centre, we were impressed with his quiet, professional, and friendly advice. He provided us with a tailor made itinerary covering Mumbai, Ooty, Mysore and ending at Coconut Lagoon and Marari Beach in Kerala. We had excellent drivers and guides who enhanced our many experiences. Due to some local problems between the inhabitants of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka there were some minor changes to our itinerary - but at all times we were kept informed by Globe Travel Centre, and they had a back-up plan ready to put in place if it was needed. We felt that we were in safe hands at all times. We have no hesitation in recommending Globe Travel Centre to anyone considering a journey in India, and we are already planning another Indian adventure.

GTC organised an amazing holiday for us in India. All staff were friendly and helpful. They provided an excellent service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Kerala Travel Centre organised a two and a half week holiday for us covering both South and North Kerala, and it has been by far the best organised holiday we have been on.

We covered Cochin, the backwaters, Munnar, Periyar and then Tellicherry and Waynad. Though the itinerary we wanted was rather complicated, the Kerala expert had no trouble putting it together in a way that gave us the chance to explore each of the destinations without it being rushed at any point. We loved the cookery experiences that were specially organised for us. We enjoyed everything; the food, the picturesque drives, the interactions with people. Kerala is truly magical and we will definitely be returning.

We have no hesitation in recommending Globe Travel Centre to anyone planning a holiday to Kerala.

We could not fault this organised tour of India. Our allocated driver was excellent - very helpful, good knowledge, good conversation and immaculately on-time. The hotels/lodges that we stayed in were superb. The service altogether fantastic and the food truly awesome. Definitely at least worth 5 stars.

We have just returned from a holiday to Kerala and parts of North India with Globe Travel Centre and this has by far been the best tailor made holiday we have ever been on.

The expert put together an itinerary that was exactly what we wanted. All the hotels used were perfect. The service on the holiday was flawless. We were provided with a complimentary mobile phone and Globe were always at hand and every team member bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we wanted. The driver we had was knowledgeable, courteous and was the perfect companion.
I was particularly impressed by all the little quirks that made the service stand out. The driver presented a business card that read “Chauffeur & Travel companion” and the Guides carried cards that said “Friend, Philosopher & Guide”. We were very impressed with the ethical approach the company has towards travel. Truly exceptional travel company. Highly recommended.

We stayed in 4 different locations on the holiday and all were fabulous places, excellent food and wonderful staff. We started off at the Brunton Boatyard, then Coconut Lagoon, one night on the Houseboat and finally 5 x nights in the Marari Beach resort.

There were a couple of frustrations with the Marari Beach that let things down slightly but could easily be rectified. A number of things were unavailable such as the Kitchen Garden restaurant, the Beach shack / Seafood restaurant, the trip to the Spice plantations. I guess these may have been due to the Monsoon season but having either a brochure explaining such or a notice from the outset would therefore have not lead us to have higher expectations.

The times were wrong in the room brochure for the yoga classes, making me late and slightly embarrassed on the first day.

There is an issue with serving alcohol on the complex. Although it was advertised in the room that there would be beer in the fridge there was none and the reception stated they were not allowed to send this over. Again although advertised in the menu at the outside beach hut the staff stated that they were not allowed to serve beer / wine outside of the restaurant. Again the issue is about clarity of information so that ones expectations are not raised. Had this been told to us when we first got there we would not have been so disappointed.

The food was the freshest and most amazing ever. There was so much variety that if for some bizarre reason one does not like spicy foods / curry there was plenty of alternatives to choose from, including healthy options of wonderful salads.

The cultural rep and the naturalist were also very lovely and informative. Clearly very proud of Kerala and very professional in their jobs.

The Ayurveda massages were something to savour. My body and skin has never felt so good.

We stayed in the Deluxe bungalow which had a private pool. The bathrooms (semi open air) were fantastic and the standard of the whole of the accommodations were brilliant. I could not fault them at all.

I would definitely recommend Kerala and Globe Travel to all of my friends.

A well organised holiday with Excellent accommodation at each resort. Large car provided with a very caring driver. The journey from Calicut to Trivandrum was an eight hour train ride (fully air conned), quite an experience, we were helped on and off the train with our four suitcases didn't have to lift a thing, marvellous service.
A most relaxing and stress free holiday

From first contact to follow up after the event, this holiday was such an easy experience that I don't know why I hadn't seen rave reviews elsewhere. The UK contact (Charly) was quick off the mark, efficient and provided all the information I could possibly want, up-front and before I made any commitment. Arrangements went through smoothly, no hitches or glitches at any point and the Kerala crew, from the Local Agent (Swapna) through our drivers and all of the local guides, seemed to have been chosen with care to provide an outstanding inter-personal experience as well as superb local knowledge.
The environmental considerations in the Company's ethos were a major consideration in making the booking given some of the poor reviews aspects of Kerala tourism comes in for on the 'net, and the organisers, the local crew and the venues providing the accommodation were 100% in line with what was promised, putting the icing very nicely on an excellent cake.
We will be returning once we have saved up enough funds for another trip.

Thank you very much for arranging such an interesting visit to Kerala. We really enjoyed every aspect of it and were very impressed with the driver, Chandos, who took such good care of us and even returned from his home visit to Periyar to pick us up on our last day.

Vietnam was a celebration of our 30 years of marriage, a lifelong desire from my wife Sue and an adventure holiday for us both.
Having never travelled to Asia, I asked Pat, whose details I found from Google searching and reading other reviews, to help arrange an adventure to Vietnam which didn't put us nightly into luxury hotels and equally didn't result in a back-packers holiday. Pat did the business. We experienced, over 16 nights, everything and more.
We had 4 guides, all equally helpful and knowledgeable cycling along the Mekong for 2 days, passage by dug-out boats and river boats, relaxed in some amazing places (Victoria Hotel pool mid adventure was fab), flew to Con Dow to view the Prisons, travelled up to mid-country and into the mountains and then up to the Borders on motorcycle for 5 days, then, to top it off, relaxed for 3 days in Hoi An.
In one word an Adventure and in two words, an Amazing Adventure.

Pat provided the mobile phone for safety, we were met at every airport with a smile and never had to think about what was coming next and at all times we were kept informed, asked for our thoughts and feedback at every point. That meant being exposed to many experiences some of which I'm sure few would ever see unless they too have a strong sense of adventure.

If you're going to Vietnam, go Global. If you want an experience, plan hand-in-hand with Pat and one final tip; tell Pat and Globe Travel as much about you as possible from day-one - they'll then tailor your holiday and your experiences to meet your desires and needs….and some!

We asked Charly to design an itinerary based on our research as to where we wanted to visit in Kerala as well as Chennai . His advice was very professional and helpful in ensuring that we maximized our leisure time whilst there. The personal drivers he provided as well as the local representatives were excellent as were the various hotels we stayed at.
We would highly recommend this company to any persons considering planning a holiday to this areas.

We have just come back from an amazing holiday to Cambodia and Vietnam, organised by Pat from Globe Travel.
All the hotels that we stayed in were very good, most excelled our expectations! The guides were all very friendly and knowledgeable and were willing to modify the itinerary if needed. My birthday spent on board a junk in Ha Long Bay was fantastic. I was given a cake, a small gift and the crew sang to me, a birthday I won't forget!
We've been with Globe Travel a few times to India and am pleased to say that we had the same high standard of care and support in Cambodia and Vietnam right from booking. We were even given a mobile phone to use in Vietnam in case we needed to get in touch with them. We did use it once when we had a query about pick up times and it was all sorted out straight away.
