This was the second time I had used the services of Globe Travel to organise a holiday in Kerala for me, and once again, they made sure everything ran smoothly and chose some excellent places to stay and a useful itinerary. Charly is effective and efficient and both understands his client and the country so as to provide a perfect match. I cannot fault his choices and the service he provided. We received our itinerary a few weeks before departure with every piece of useful information we could want. Once in India, we had an excellent driver who couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. He was even able to advise us about shopping for silk material! We always knew that help was a phone call away and that enabled us to relax into a wonderful holiday! I can recommend the services of Globe Travel without reservation!

I thought this company were exceptional, before we went and the whole time we were there , they kept in touch to make sure all was well, I will definitely travel with them again.

We have been using the services of Globe Travel Centre since 2013 when it was then Kerala Travel Centre.
We have always received excellent service, information and advice, particularly from Charly Jacob in the UK and from the team in Kerala and last year in Tamil Nadu.
Their in depth knowledge and experience of the area and their courteous and friendly service has definitely enhanced our enjoyment of our holidays in South India and Sri Lanka.
We are very happy to have the back-up and over-seeing of such a travel company on our journeys.

My wife and I used Globe travel for a second time on this occasion to visit Sri Lanka. Our wishes were taken fully into account in planning this trip and once again we were provided with a car with driver who was full of information and anxious to fulfil our wishes. When a weather problem caused a potential problem, positive changes were provided and we were kept fully informed. Overall cannot fault.

Excellent tailor made Holiday!

Globe Travel Centre organised an excellent tailor made holiday for us. The service was unparalleled. Our flight arrived late, but the company representative was available to meet us despite the prolonged delays. Highly recommended.

We have travelled extensively and can say without hesitation that our holiday with Globe Travel Centre has been by far the best. Every detail was meticulously planned and everything worked like clock work. Highly recommended to anyone planning a tailor made holiday.

I first contacted Globe Travel Centre with the view to book a tour similar to a North India tour we had seen on another company website. Our friends and I are so glad we got in touch with them, as the expertise they offered completely changed our whole experience. Charly at Globe designed an itinerary that covered some amazing parts of North India (not on the tourist circuit) with a week of rest and relaxation in Kerala. The booking experience was flawless. We were pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail and care. Even before we left, we had an email from the lovely Guest Experience Manager in India, and also staff here to ensure we didn’t have any concerns. During the holiday staff were always in touch to ensure we were happy with everything. Our driver David became a friend over the two weeks we spent in India. We have come back with very happy memories and will no doubt be booking with Globe again.

My boyfriend and I have just come back one of the best holidays we have ever been on. The customer service we received from start to finish was exceptional and I would highly recommend this company to anyone! Infact my parents are booking a holiday with them as we speak! The hotels we stayed in were out of this world, and the people we met along the way that helped us with transport, food and tours could not do enough to make our trip extra special. This trip took into account the history and the culture of India and we got to experience it all. Last minute changes were done without hesitation and we were able to add an Elephant sanctuary and train ride in to enhance our holiday experience even further.
I felt safe throughout the entire holiday and we were both made to feel like royalty throughout our time in India. We absolutely loved it and can not wait to go back! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you all put in to planning such a special holiday for us.

Globe Travel Centre provided my family and I with the best possible trip to Kerala, India. We were completely stunned by its beauty and its friendliness - it was a phenomenal experience for us all.
We stayed in three different, but equally exquisite, hotels - as well as a converted rice boat with a private captain, maid and chef - it was all incredible, our children were lost for words!
Globe Travel Centre made us feel so incredibly safe, wherever we travelled to. With two small boys in tow, we were given friendly and knowledgeable tour guides and chauffeurs which made sightseeing easy and relaxed. Our GTC representative welcomed us at the airport (at 3.30am local time!) with a flower garland each, a detailed itinerary pack and even a mobile phone and charger, to contact a member of the team 24/7.
We were thoroughly spoilt on our holiday, thanks to Globe Travel Centre; so much so, we have decided to book up again to go back this February 2018!

My wife & I had a wonderful holiday organised by Globe Travel Centre. It was tailored to all our interests and yet we were able to do and see much more than we hoped for. Sri Lanka and Kerala are such beautiful places and we were so well guided that we could enjoy and appreciate lots of their culture and natural beauty. The hotels were absolutely wonderful and the people were fantastic.

If you would like a holiday of a lifetime, then book with Globe Travel Centre. We travelled all the way to India with our 2 sons (3 and 6 years old). The team at Globe Travel Centre made the trip so safe for all of us, we will now always travel with them.

Globe Travel are absolutely fantastic. No detail is too much trouble to sort, they want you to have the best holiday possible and constantly strive to make sure you do, checking during your stay that everything is OK. We have now dealt with Charly Jacob twice now and he is brilliant. He always answered my many emails and questions promptly and never failed to give me even more information than I had asked for - all of which was invaluable and necessary - I just hadn't thought about it.

Would not use anyone else!

We had an amazing holiday in Kerala. Globe Travel were fantastic to deal with: Charly answered all of our questions and provided the necessary advice ahead of our trip. The team on the ground were just as brilliant - all of our guides were very knowledgeable and personable, and our driver who accompagnied us throughout the trip was a real gem (Ganesh). We stayed in some great hotels and again we very well looked after. I would not hesitate to recommend Globe and will definitely use them again to travel in India and any of their other desinations.

After many months of planning, and looking forwards to a once in a lifetime holiday, we set off on August 14th 2017. We were meant to be doing the same tour that the Chef Rick Stein have covered on tv. Our tour was to cover the spice trail, seeing where Indian plants are grown and processed.
To say we were bitterly disappointed is an understatement.

We booked our own flights as they had to fit in with time off work. Our holiday commenced as follows.
Day one, arriving at Cochin airport and met by a Globe representative and our driver. We drove to Brunton Boatyard in Kerala, which is a fantastic hotel and we were so pleased to be there. It had taken us 23 hours to reach the first hotel.
Early the next morning, we set off on a Five and a half hour drive, to go to Periyar, to a resort called the Spice Village. Enroute, we stopped off to see the spice plantation 'tour' which consisted of a walk around a very small area, not much bigger than the average garden. What a waste of time.
We arrived at the Spice Village later in the day. It's a lovely place to stay, but very, very difficult to get around if you are disabled, which my wife is . The grounds are unlevel which made walking around almost impossible. If you use crutches or a wheelchair then forget it. However, the staff therecare fantastic! Hubby had a food demo on making authentic curry. He loved that.
The really bad downside was that the Spice Village sells alcohol to the locals, and one of them was very drunk and extremely abusive towards me. So much so, that security was called, and the drunken man evicted.

The following day, we went for a short drive to see some elephants. That was lovely. We were supposed to go on a 3 hour hike through a jungle, to see wildlife. We didn't go, as I was too exhausted. We also wanted to go shopping for souvenirs. Our driver only wanted us to go to one shop of his choice. Where we were pestered to death to buy.
The following day was a six and half hour drive to Madurai, to the Heritage hotel. This was the worst part of 'the tour'.
The hotel was ok. The town was absolutely disgusting, with filth strewn everywhere, and men openly urinating at the side of the road. You can imagine the smell. My wife was so upset, that she was crying. I have never seen anything like it ever.
The driver took us to a flower market later on. Why we were taken there, God only knows. It was no bigger than a car park, and a swamp too. Walking through thick, stinking mud, to look at sellers all selling the exact same flowers. It was at this stage that I emailed Globe travel to ask what the he'll they were doing, sending us there.
The following day we went to the Temples, to see the food made for the followers. That never happened either. Apparently, there was a festival on and we were not allowed in the kitchen. However, our guide Daisy, was brilliant and very knowledgeable.
The following morning we were picked up to go to The Coconut Lagoon resort. The driver took us to meet the boat. We were glad to see the back of him,as he was really creepy and kept calling us mummy and daddy.
Coconut Lagoon us a truly beautiful place to stay and the staff was so kind. But again, no good for someone who struggles to walk, as all the walkways were all convex. There was stairs to walk up and down to got to the restaurant. Such a shame, it made walking almost impossible. But we got on with it. The staff made our stay so welcoming. We were sad to leave there. Plus all the monkeys roaming around pinching anything that wasn't nailed down.
We stayed for 2 days and then transferred by boat to meet up with a houseboat. We were very happy when we went aboard. It was lovely. Our bedroom was ensuite, and it was really cosy. We had 3 staff members, the Chef, the Captain and another chap who did a bit of everything. I was concerned about sleeping on the boat as it was not secure, but the staff stayed with us. The trip on the houseboat was fabulous.
The next day, we returned to Brunton Boatyard for our last night. We had a lovely room with great views.

We were away for 9 days and enjoyed the last 5 days. Would we book with Globe again? No. The only saving grace was the lovely lady who works for them and is based in Kerala. She was lovely.

I had emailed Globe to tell them we were not happy and had no reply at all. That in itself is very telling.

I recently spend a couple of weeks in Kerala with my family, and were looked after by Globe travel centre - I couldn't have wished of better holiday. From the moment we landed in Kochi we were welcomed and driven to our first property in very comfortable and well conditioned car. From there we toured around Kerala for 12 days, and every need were taken care off - Highly recommend them, the best tour service I have ever had and I am very seasoned traveller
