If it's not an easy case they just ignore you. I had a text on Aug 13th saying they had received my signed forms. Since then I have not heard a thing. I even took the trouble in sending about 13 copies of paperwork which
was very relevant to my case. True what someone said don't be fooled by the name. I was, I thought they were a competent company with lots of advertising & I thought they must be top dogs! Such a fool. I will never use this company again for anything

Hounded me until I gave in and decided to try for PPI, gave them all the details they asked for, they didn't update my details properly saying that I had no PPI at all and lenders couldn't find me as they put wrong address in. They couldn't get their head around the fact I've lived at more than 2 different addresses in 10 years and had changed my name due to divorce. Gave them my account details and came back saying lender couldn't not find me even though I still have an account with them and they have the account number. Absolutely useless, didn't get a penny from the 5+ accounts.

Very poor communication. No effort to assist. Immediately accept banks answer, without question. Didn't do anything I hadn't tried myself. No facility to email for further action or to complain. Avoid.

Received a call from Gladstonebrookes this afternoon relating to a PPI claim from some 40 years ago. Was asked numerous questions most of which I could not answer. Before the questions started I did say I did not want to proceed with the case but the caller was very pushy despite the fact that I said I had family issues which where much more important. The caller continued when I again insisted that I wanted to close the case, in the end I had to explain that I had a very close relative who had been diagnosed with cancer and the prognosis was not good to which he told me I must pray to God morning and night, I was as you can believe, horrified. He then asked if he could call me back at a more convenient time a a couple of days, I put the phone down. Calls now blocked on my phone. My advice would be to steer well clear of this company.

Completed my claim form months ago - never heard from them again until today 8.11.19, only to tell me they had closed my case. Tried to log into client portal and could not. Remind me NEVER to deal with this company again!! Abominal customer service ! How they apparently get 4,5 ☆ on the reviews is beyond me!!!!!

Dreadful service. Didn’t win me a penny after identifying a number of ppi claims. Poor communication, annoying phone calls, constant demands to return emails and paperwork, no progress made whatsoever!
Stick with the Claims Guys...... they do the job properly!

Absolutely pathetic. Signed all stuff I was sent and sent it back. Was never contacted again. Tried to register at the portal and was told they could not find me as a client. Useless.

Generally fine but she had a lot of problems with questions relating to Lloyds and the number of phone calls which were quiet often along the same lines, so much she got fed up and decided to ask you to end the search.
I personally felt that there was probably some reward if she had carried on. Heard that others had had problems dealing with Lloyds.

What a joke of a company have received a letter from them today. There letter is dated the 20th of August ha royal mail is bad but not that bad the letter states they no longer deal with black horse and they passed the matter on to a company called synergy and are saying I didn't sign form of authority well that's because I didn't receive any you are a joke worst company I have ever delt with hope you go under

Told them we had ppi in 2016 they said they couldn't find any. Yesterday found ppi details in with our deeds, too late now to claim.

I lost the will to live dealing with these cowboys. I used to get about three letters daily from them, all in separate envelopes. They also rang me about three times a day. Almost sent me demented. EVERY PERSON I SPOKE TO could hardly speak English. I just could not understand any of them. Gave up In the end. Who knows if I ever had PPI. They asked VERY intrusive questions and in the end I refused to give them any more info. God knows who I was speaking to giving over all my personal information. Doubt we will ever hear of this shower once the PPI has finished. Thank God!

told me claims were being handled by another company, LIED, told me the sent a conformation letter out, LIED, told me they sent a termination letter out, LIED, 48hrs left to claim, said someone would call me to resolve issues, LIED, 24hrs the same ,LIED, i tried other avenues but it is just not possible now, ive lost any compensation that was due to me, they wont talk to me on the phone, just email, they promised me a service and i promised to pay for that service, they just did'nt keep to there word, and whats more they dont CARE !

Gladstone Brookes contacted me hours before the deadline to tell me that they had not received my paperwork and could not act for me on PPI. This was a lie. When I sent my forms two weeks ago I received confirmation that I had successfully completed my paperwork. It’s now too late for me to contact anyone else! Spent money prior to this on several phone calls to them. They have cheated me out of claiming PPI and have lied!

How many staff are getting redundancy notices today.

They repeatedly asked for eDouments to be signed which I did on a number of occasions. Also followed links in eMails to sign and informed I need not take any further action as they had received my authority to proceed. The last eMail I had from these people is now telling me that as they have not received any form of authority and as time is now up they've closed my case. It's a shame I have to be so generous and leave one star. Go figure!!!

Incompetent, arrogant, useless morons.
These are the nicest words I can think of to describe this unprofessional company that employs minions who are relatively inefficient when you can eventually get hold of them on the awful telephone line.
Having set up a claim on the back of them 'discovering' something when my wife claimed through them they sent paperwork that I signed and posted back twice.
I am now told that they haven't been accepting paper forms for three weeks and cannot send the electronic link as that facility closed two days ago.
Incompetency reigns at this company. There is an element of me that says I'm no worse off than before this debacle started but the frustration of dealing with phone monkeys and losing the potential for a little recompense for something I was charged for incorrectly is irritating.
Avoid using this company if at all possible.
