Ease of use of website and speed of reply

No problems

I just renewed my insurance with them online and as I have slightly more expensive items on my waterlodge, I had to increase the amount. The website is ok to navigate but no easy. I also phoned their customer service and that was ok. I called the number and got through to someone, who told me they would be putting me through to someone, so it was a little awkward and took time. But in the end I spoke to right person and got my question aswered. So all ok, but a little slow.

GJW are a fantastic, honest and fair insurer. I wouldn’t use any other company. Piece of mind is essential when it comes to boating.

I have been a GJW client for many years as always found them helpful and reliable. This year was an exception because of the change having been absorbed into another company. The automatic renewal did not take place and I was uninsured for a few hours because I could not complete payment online on the Sunday. Calling the next day and managing to correct a number of issues the insurance was quickly completed. Whilst a little stressful, the outcome provide an opportunity to correct a number of small issues and accuracy in the policy. So well worth the premium. I never thought of going elsewhere as they have been so helpful.

Got a quote online, needed to clarify a few things. The lady I spoke to was very polite and helpful and got me sorted out in no time. Quote was very good value and included everything required without additional cost.

I've been with GJW Direct for a few years and find they have been easy to interact with, however on renewal I had to go through multiple sites to set up Direct Debit / Credit agreement which was far more onerous than in previous years.

No previous explanation about being associated with a new company therefore confusing to start with and why such a long password unnecessary no one else has one

The process of obtaining a quotation and insuring my narrowboat could not have been quicker or simpler.

Originally i had a multi boat policy for three boats with one payment. Now it is reverted to 3 separate polocies which required three separate logins and paymeny. So inefficient!
