Boiler intermittently would not fire up for heating. Called Gills Gas, Jemma was very friendly on the phone and luckily their engineer was local and popped round that afternoon and got it working. Jon was very polite, informative and helpful. Price was very reasonable and I'm now scheduled for a part replacement and annual service. So glad I fell upon Gills Gas Solutions, highly recommend them.

Brilliant, friendly and honest service. I left for work and came back to a new smart boiler installed. Flushed the system through. Added some new filters and even fixed a leaky stopcock for me. Highly recommended.
A really thorough job of flushing my boiler/radiators. Lovely chap, very efficient, professional and talked me through everything. Would not hesitate to recommend. My house is now also warmer as a result of his great work !

Professional, friendly, excellent service! Jon came to fix our toilet cistern the day after we called & even tightened up the toilet roll holder, this was above & beyond what he needed to do. I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again!
In August 2021 it was necessary to instal a replacement radiator and a towel rail, during which it became evident that the system was full of sludge in spite of a previous boiler installation in 2020 at which time the system should have been flushed through. We had noticed since moving in in February 21 that the boiler was inefficient and expensive to run. Jon Gills tested this boiler and found the CO2 emissions level was dangerously high and on further inspection discovered that, due to the system not having been flushed the heat exchangers were clogged causing damage to them, explaining all the problems with the system. As a consequence we opted for a replacement boiler which is more efficient and economical. This was installed with great thought and expertise and we thoroughly recommend Gills Gas Solutions as we are extremely pleased with the outcome experiencing honest professionalism that is so seemingly rare in today’s world.
