Quality items, good service, but serious lack of security for payment methods
The items were shipped on time and arrived soon, but part of my order was "misread" and I got something I did not want and there was no way of returning it. Furthermore, and more important, the payment information (a credit card number) was leaked and I had to replace the credit card

We’re sorry for the disappointment regarding the sizing. Having reviewed your order, we can confirm that the incorrect size was selected by you when the order was placed, rather than there being an error in how the order was processed by us. As this was a made-to-order item, it was produced specifically in the size selected at checkout and, as stated on the product page, these items are non-refundable and cannot be returned. We appreciate that this may be frustrating, and we would always have been happy to help with sizing before the item was produced had we been contacted.
We are also very sorry to hear about your concerns regarding your payment card. Our online shop is operated through Shopify, which uses industry-standard security measures to protect payment information. The University of Edinburgh Gift Shop does not have access to or store customers’ full credit card numbers. Payment card information is processed securely through Shopify’s PCI DSS-compliant payment infrastructure.
We take the security of our customers’ information extremely seriously. While we appreciate that you experienced an issue with your card, we have no evidence that your card details were compromised through our online store. We would encourage anyone who believes their card may have been compromised to contact their card issuer directly so they can investigate and take any necessary action.
