Stay away from this company!
Had a very pushy rep talk me into getting outside wall insulation on the eco4 scheme.
After having a surveyor in my house for 4 hours checking everything I was told that insulation would be done.
Then get a wattsapp message from Giant source the company which would carry out the work.
I was told funds have been granted and scaffolding would be put up on the weekend, then i was asked to choose the colour of the rendor i wanted. Then a guy came round and cut all my window vents bigger then they originally was. Well 3 weekends pass and still no scaffolding, so I contacted giant source through wattsapp to see what was going on?
Then I was told the work would not be done as 70% of my road has already had the outside insulation done. Well I can tell you now that 4 houses out of 76 have had it done. They have took the funding off the government for my house now refuse to do the work. Back to the window vents, now they have cut them larger i have a gale force draft constantly blowing through every room of my home. Now I've asked them to give me the reasons they told me on a wattsapp call in writing why work was cancelled because the lady I spoke to had a very strong indian accent, I couldn't understand most of what she said, but they've since ignored any messages I've sent them.
Well I've screen shot all the messages we had and passed them onto my local councillor to see what comes of it.

Absolute nightmare,cowboy workers I was told it is a requirement for the external insulation for the internal doors to be trimmed to 10mm A cowboy cut the doors while on hinges to 20mm and more also damaging the doors, it has been over a month back and forth call messages no solution given.My front door slab was removed and fitted with a window sill.
workers contractors no one is fluent in English.
They turn up anytime no notice no calls no message.
A none English speaking gentleman from the company posed as an inspector from 'Techniqua inspection'
I was visited by City council as the neighbours complained about the noise,music and planks of wood thrown into the neighbours garden.
I have was not given an copies of documents.
one bedroom window would not open fully due to the guttering i was told 'this is how it will be, other solution is you change your window, I asked will the company change the window or myself i was told by this worker i will have to.Eventually after getting my brother involved they adjusted the guttering.
All the newly fitted window sills scratched silicon turned black as the guttering work was carried out after the sills were fitted, windows doors nothing covered to protect.
It has been mental torture, loss of earnings as i work from home, cancelling work to babysit the workers
Terrible communication
ONLY AGREE TO WORK IF YOU HAVE NERVES OF STEEL AND CAN BE AVILABLE FOR A FEW WEEKS TO OVERLOOK ALL THE WORK
I have broken down a few times due the their soo called managers playing mind games with me.
I only went ahead thinking it is a government funding the work will be carried out by skillful tradesmen far from it.
I am currently taking the matter further as i am left with damaged internal doors, damaged window sills, a plastic window sill in the place of my concrete slab

Absolutely appalled by the service from Giant Source Limited. What should have been a simple insulation project under the ECO4 scheme has become an exhausting and infuriating nightmare. My home was left in a disgraceful state.
Despite countless attempts to get answers, my emails have been blatantly ignored.There has been no proper project management, no follow-up, and no respect for my time or my property.

This experience has been nothing short of a disaster — deeply unprofessional, chaotic, and incredibly stressful for my family. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer well clear. Avoid at all costs.
