Excellent portal for self tax return…
Excellent portal to file the tax return even you have no tax filing knowledge. Well connected with Finance Department so you no need to prepare anything separately.
Although, their FAQ's and BOT is very useful but I would suggest to allow chat with real tax consultant for help on basic tax queries or issues while using Sorted.

It is trustworthy and it does not miss a deadline.
Easy to make invoices and to declare expenses. Everything is organised and easy to check.
Customer support is excellent, to the point and always fast responses.
If guidance is needed from an accountant, it is fast to organise an online meeting and the service is excellent again.

Nice interface but annoying bugs
The interface is nice and easy to use and it's great to file German taxes. However I've experienced several bugs with expense records and my invoices appearing odd when I send them out which the support wasn't able to solve for me. So I'm not very happy with this.

Yes! German Tax Law made WAY easier.
Does everything that it says on the tin. I use Sorted throughout the year to send my invoices and when the time comes to send over my tax return it literally takes me no more than 10 minutes! What a relief.
The customer service is also very helpful with advice on german tax law.

Incredible tool, responsive support staff <3
Just had an incredible experience with Mariana after i had a very unfortunate autofill error in my tax return. Quite a big mistake to make but Sorted were very responsive and helpful.
In general I find Sorted a great tool for doing my taxes, keeping track of expenses, and cutting some of the stress out of German bureaucracy. Thank you.

Submitted a question about my account on Sorted's customer service form about my tax registration form. Recieved help from Mariana from deel, and was provided accurate and informative help and within minutes the representative checked my form and sent me a screenshot clarification to me. Very impressed with the speed and accuracy of their customer service.

I love Sorted, it makes taxes easy and stressfree. I've been using it since 2020 and it's always been a pleasure. It seems really easy to use but I had…
It seems really easy to use but I had so many problems with the Finanzamt because of the way sorted functions. When because of sending a form I'm not obligated to send, Finanzamt send me warnings that sorted advised me to not send it, so long story short, I got a fine now. I apparently registered wrongly (sorted took care of that). If you are a Kleinunternehmer, don't use it. I'm hiring accountants and tax consultants now to get me out of this and it's incredibly complicated. I'm not saying it's thier fault, German laws have a great chunk in that but what I saying is, if something goes wrong, it might be their fault and they can't help you

We are very sorry to hear about the trouble with the Finanzamt and would like to help you as much as possible and that is why we have reached out to you privately.
The issue arose because you were asked to file ZM reports by the local Finanzamt, but Kleinunternehmers do not have to submit ZM reports. Our partner tax advisors have successfully handled similar cases, proving that Kleinunternehmers are exempt from submitting ZM reports. If you were not able to convince the Finanzamt on your own and are facing fines, we recommend considering a tax advisor through Deel (since we don’t have tax advisors on Sorted at the moment). They can help argue your case with the local Finanzamt.
We look forward to discussing this matter in more detail via email.

Great product for freelancing in Germany: invoices and tax returns
Great and simple product. Perfect for my needs as freelancer in Germany. I can easily invoice clients and have all the in-product guidance needed to submit tax reports. And the customer service is amazing: went the extra mile to support my initial registration 6 months ago and is still always active and responsive now.

Simple taxes with great support
I use Sorted for a few years now and never had any issues, it's a great and affordable service. Whenever I have issues, the support team is always quick to answer. Big shout out to Mariana from support who managed to fix my issues in less than 2 hours after reporting it.

A good program with a sketchy subscription...
A good program. It does help you navigate through the oxidised complicated German tax bureaucracy. It also lures you offering you a monthly subscription that you can only pay quarterly 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻, getting a thin margin of cheaper compared to what you´d pay yearly, so you are forced to choose between 12 months or 4 months. Why they call that a monthly subscription? Whatever!
Apart from that, yeah, a good product.
