I paid sam and his company 750$ for a google ads account audit with perspective for future projects and consultancy to guide me a little bit. Sam seemed very professional at the initial meeting and I was very optimistic. I found sam for 50$ per hour on upwork.com and he had very good reviews.

What he delivered as an "audit" was not even one a4 page of the most generic comments about advertising. His number one tip was just to add more keywords if Sam spent more than 30 minutes doing the audit he would know there are no more keywords in my niche.

Truly nothing valuable was given, comparing it to the next audit I did at a much more experienced google ads expert I wish I never met sam that's why I'm leaving this review to warn others.

No shopping campaign (mostly eBay doing ads on google shopping)

Search campaigns:
Ad groups organized by keyword themes ✓
However - some ad groups overlap in search terms that are triggered because they are similar and match types are broad
For example - buy ______ (edited for privacy) and ________ (edited for privacy) can end up overlapping
Solution for this would be to add ___ as a negative keyword in the _________ so that those searches route only to the buy ___________ ad group

Display campaign:
Seems to be intended for retargeting (checkout recovery) but one of the audiences has users who did complete transactions. This should be changed to only retarget anyone who did not purchase

Overall, the campaigns are set up well and performing well but could use more optimizing on the keyword level.
Text ads are good (all responsive)
Conversion tracking is set up and appears to be working as it should
Would recommend running shopping ads if they have a Google Merchant Center account set up
