We're in the early stages of selling, and haven't much experience, so the information and advice we've received from Ithiel at GetAgent has been really valuable.

Very polite abd helpful. Listened to my situation and gave appropriate advice. Seemed human! Not just sticking to a script to tick boxes.

I wasn't sure about sharing my details on get agent. James called me within 30 minutes, he was very informative and understanding .
He shared information about choosing the tight estate agent.

Too pushy. I just wanted to compare different agents again and see their current performance online but instead I was forced to give my number to proceed. Then I did not see or receive any stats, but however I received undesired calls from 3 agents.

Very informative and sent me an email with questions to be aware of to get the best out of my appointments. Would highly recommend.

My son is planning to sell his house and I was curious how different estate agents compare. After making an online enquiry with GetAgent, Lazim Miah phoned me and was extremely helpful. After clarifying the situation and specific need, he gave some very useful tips, advising what to look out for and to ask when getting different agents to come and value the property. He was able to check the performance of different estate agents in the area and from his database of information, recommended a couple of agents to try. He followed up the conversation with an email, putting many of the suggestions in writing, along with helpful links. I've passed those on to my son.

Was able to answer my question also listend and gave constructive criticism. Well definitely come back when l go on the market again understand now need to choose my agent with more care

I received a call from Ayanna Samuel within minutes of looking at the Get Agent website. She was very helpful and, following our call, she immediately sent me an email with a lot of useful information.

Within minutes from completing the different questions on line, I had a call from a lady called Daisey. It was so quick, at first I thought it may be a scam but as the conversation went on, I then realised she was very efficient and had lots of information to share and most importantly. being independent.

GetAgent has a complete lack of integrity and accountability on their platform. They claim to provide independent, algorithmic data to help homeowners find the best local estate agents. In reality, they host highly misleading and inaccurate statistics to protect their high-volume paying partners, ie estate agents, this is a fact backed up by the ASA ruling. It is clear that GetAgent is a commercial lead-generation business that prioritises its corporate commission splits over consumer transparency. They have zero interest in data accuracy or consumer protection. Their algorithms heavily favours paying estate agents, as documented by the ASA. Do NOT trust the statistics on this website - they are a complete smoke screen.
I went on the GetAgent website to choose an estate agent who sells quickly in my area and they came up with a few. I chose the one with the fastest selling time from the GetAgent website. This agent was absolutely useless, I had no offers and after a while I got rid of them. The reason I chose them was due to the false data provided by GetAgent, it violates the Misrepresentation Act 1967. There is a trick that under-performing estate agents use to make their statistics look good, the "Reset" Trick, withdrawing and re-listing a property. When they withdraw the property that is not selling, they wait then re-list it as a new property. This rewinds the clock to zero and it starts ticking again. So if it took the estate agent 6 months to sell a property, by using this underhanded trick it looks like a "lightning-fast 2-week sale" in GetAgent's data. The reason nothing is done about GetAgent comes down to gaps in UK property regulations, clever legal loopholes and a lack of resources at the enforcement level.
GetAgent has faced broader industry scrutiny. In recent years, the UK's Advertising Standards Authority upheld a major ruling against GetAgent for making misleading claims about their algorithms providing "impartial recommendations" proving that their default shortlist actually favours registered estate agents who pay them referral fees. My review pointing out false data and algorithms bias validates a known corporate weakness.
You as a consumer CAN do something about GetAgent. AVOID THEM!

The representative was polite but didn't really understand that we were already with an agent and on the market. Despite me saying we weren't able to consider another agent just yet he still arranged for an alternative agent to get in touch. Although he wasn't overbearing he was on the verge of being pushy. Please listen to the callers circumstances more carefully. The concept of the service is good but I had only filled in the surveyto see if we had chosen the right agent to market our property, according to however GetAgent work things out we had.

Lazim Miah was very polite and informative on the call I received, would recommend this service.
