I BOUGHT ONE.
Not really no one would be that stupid after reading all the other reviews.
Just seen this ad on youtube & it looked like a scam so I thought I'd check it out. Don't know what they're charging for it but I suppose people who gets all their news from social media will probably buy them.

I saw the ad in french. Two guys, french names. Yet the device uses european or ASIAN AC sockets.

This is a scam. I have not purchased one of these, but has looked at their claims, and it is impossible for a wifi booster connected to your router by wifi signal, can control the router and the speed of internet that the router is providing. Devices that look EXACTLY the same as the WifiX device are for sale on Amazon as wifi boosters with different names, but without any claim that these improve the internet coming from your router. My advice is to completely avoid these!

Don't get caught out by Wi Fi X.

Its promoters have gone after the YouTube audience on the basis that YouTube ads are comparatively cheap to make, including the cost of hiring actors, and pretty persuasive, too, at hooking in members of an audience profile more than likely ready to believe anything they're told.

Wi-Fi X's advertising's preposterous 'back story' is of two allegedly nice guys with made-up names who allegedly worked for an ISP and discovered its "dirty secret" -- that it was constantly throttling the Internet speed of customers who weren't paying much in order to push them into forking out a great deal more.

And so these two oh-so noble guys with untraceable fictitious names decided to quit their jobs with the evil ISP, thereafter bravely investing their technological genius, their time and their money in an invention whose primary purpose was not to make a lot of money for them. . . but to make the world a better place for all by actively preventing money-grabbing ISPs from, er, grabbing YOUR money.

Hence WiFi X. . . which will certainly grab your money because it's a worthless chunk of Far Eastern plastic and metal sourced for a few cents per unit by the WiFi X business and then retailed at as high a $USD or £GBP amount as can be extracted from witless punters.

And yes, there are occasional " half price" offers and heavy discounts which some people are stupid enough enough to think represent a bargain. However, if something is worthless to begin with, then halving its asking price makes no difference: worthless is worthless, no matter how much it's hyped.

The technological claims made for the 'invention' are absolute nonsense; not only does the device not do what the fraudulent advertising says it does, the device CANNOT do them -- in particular, the key claim that it protectively comes between the customer and his/her ISP and stops the bandwidth throttling from ever occurring. Quite how plastic moulding and metal stuck into the wall socket of an average home can magically exert control over the operation of an entire ISP many, many miles from it, isn't explained. . . because there is no explanation. It's all A LIE, like all the other lies.

If you're experiencing speed difficulties with your Internet service, best thing to do is get proper advice from any of the Internet forums where broadband issues and connectivity difficulties are discussed. Just run an online search with Startpage or Duck Duck Go. Internet connectivity isn't a difficult subject to get your head around.

Worst thing to do is believe that yes, there really were these two guys who once upon a time set out to make the world a better place for all by inventing WiFi X.

Avoid to buy anything from no name companies like this one without checking on internet the experience of other former buyers.

Company's website was just registered Jan 2021. Enough said!

Fake ads, about novitec wifi router

The ads claims that ALL internet provider curb the bandwith and that their product are designed to get the maximum bandwidth. ITS WRONG.

No hardware can impact the bandwidth you get from your internet provider. NONE. Period.

This is a total scam !

Évidemment que c'est une arnaque, c'est n'importe quoi ! C'est un simple répéteur... C'est quoi cette histoire, débrider votre connexion 😂 elle est pas mal celle là !!!

I haven't bought one but I saw the advert and was compelled to write a bad review, do not fall for this it's completely fake, there isn't a way that a device like this can boost your internet connection, you are better off buying power line Ethernet connectors, believe me I work in IT.
