I found I had a number of pieces of jewellery I didn’t wear and wondered about going to a meeting which Gerrards occassionaly hold. I was rather apprehensive as I had not been to any before, but I needn’t have been as it was welcoming, professional and friendly. I was very happy with the money they offered me and I will certainly go again if I need to.

Consistently high quality service and items - but what really makes this auction house special are the staff who work so hard to serve their customers! Gerrards is a very friendly establishment. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. They have an amazing range of collectables and jewellery etc. It's a great place to go for that "special " gift. Also their monthly auction has plenty of exciting items.

Really happy with the valuation. Had a nice chat with Lizzy while Simon did the ‘valuating’.

When Gerrards were in Menstrie I went to see Alister, who was with his dad, on two occasions. Both times it was Alister who evaluated my redundant silver jewellery and both times was delighted by both Alister and the monies offered. As someone who is up to date with spot prices the monies offered were more than fair. Would most definitely use again.

Went to valuation day @ Menstrie . John and his colleague were very welcoming and helpful. John gave me an honest and fair assessment of my gold, silver and Rolex watch. No hassle whatsoever and payment was made straight to my bank account instantly. Would highly recommended and thanks again for the ease of the transaction.

The lot was shipped to me very quickly and was beautifully packaged.

I visited Gerrard's Auction Rooms Representative with my Sister last week.
We both felt quite apprehensive never having attended a valuation before. I just went for moral support.
We were made very welcome. There was absolutely no pressure at all, we were given a value which we could accept or if we decided not then that was no problem.
Some items were of interest and others weren't but it was all discussed in a friendly, easy manner.
It went so well that I decided to return this week with a bag of jewellery that had been donated for a table top sale for a charity that I volunteer with.
I thought it was mostly costume but the Lady I saw was happy to look through it all and see if there was anything of value there.
She identified a few items of gold and some silver and made an offer including buying the costume jewellery that I accepted and was very happy with.
I would really recommend going along to a valuation day.
