I cannot recommend Gadget Centre. They advertise as 3-7 working days but in my case and I know others the laptop was not shipped until the 20th working day. I was slightly surprised by the size of the screen of the laptop but it will suffice. I fed back about the state of the charger itself but although ticketed did not get a response.

I had also ordered a rechargeable mouse but that did not arrive for an other week.. I could quite conveniently ordered one overnight from elsewhere. They did not offer a credit option instead.

Phone line was not available at least from when I placed my order in mid-November and general reply to emails was poor.

I am sorry but will not be using Gadget Centre again.

Delivered on time, wifi fast same as ethernet, starts quickly looks good, paid £360 with 3 year warranty would have paid around £600 for similar laptop,would recommend.

Had some trepidation at first but ordered a reconditioned laptop with hi-spec specifications.
Couldn't be happier! Delivered in days and now all my music files are safely stored and backed up!
3 year warranty too for less than the price of a Nando's!

This review is for my latest order. From placing the order, it took over 5 weeks of me contacting and chasing to finally get the laptop delivered. First impressions of the laptop looked promising and it fired up as expected. Then the interesting part, windows then starred stating it could not carry out updates due to processor not being supported. A 7th Gen processor was installed and these are not supported for Windows 11. On contacting Gadget Centre I got standard responses trying to fob me off. I am aware you can use 3rd party software etc to get round this but when buying a product I would either expect this to be advertised or I expect a laptop that works and can install required updates. Overall not a great experience receiving an older product than my previous order a few years before.

I'm very pleased with my laptop, the things a flying machine compared with my old one, it looks new, it works like new, it costs much less then new. I arrived nearly a month after I ordered it, so maybe take long delivery into account when ordering.

Had been looking at reviews for Gadget Centre for several months after the advert kept catching my eye on Facebook. Already had a Asus 17in which was to slow and heavy for photo editing.
Decided after about 6months to take the plunge, and filled in the forms, not knowing what to expect as always walked into major stores previously and bought what was given to me!
Upon payment, received receipt by email and brief description of specs and the process.
The nail biting part was waiting to hear anything, nothing for 2 weeks, then an email about delivery.
Laptop was very carefully packaged and delivered.
After been opened and setup it has been the fastest and quietest laptop i`ve ever had and photo editing and anything else is ten times faster. Very Very Happy and well worth the money.

Very pleased with the laptop so far. Excellent value and great condition for a refurbed unit.
Configuring and ordering is very straightforward.
There was a delay due to supply of parts, however this was explained and wouldn't detract from the 5 star review. Thanks!

Really is an excellent product. Delighted that my refurbished Dell has arrived. Easy to set up.

Love the concept of recycling old laptops and being able to "build" one to meet my needs. Found it very straightforward to order and am so pleased with my reconditioned Dell laptop! It's superfast and is just what I wanted! Highly recommend this great little company.....well done guys!🙂

Needed a new laptop and even during the sales a decent spec is pretty costly. Im a sceptic by nature and this deal seemed way too good. So glad I took the risk. A custom built laptop at high spec for an amazing price. OK it took 3 weeks to get to me but well worth the wait. Totally happy with what I've got and great service too.

Excellent service from the on line advice and self service to order and completion all achieved within a 2 week timeframe. I’ve got a like new laptop which seems to be performing as promised. I can’t comment on how long the laptop will continue to provide good service as I’m writing this shortly after receiving it.

I needed a new laptop as the old one kept crashing while I was editing videos and couldn't run Windows 11.

I looked at what was available in the big stores and online, but to get the specifications I needed I would have to spend well over a thousand pounds.

With Gadget Centre I was able to specify exactly what I needed and my superb new machine was soon delivered to my door, and it certainly didn't cost the earth!

Took a little longer than expected but the wait was definitely worth it. Parcel arrived well packed and the laptop is great.

Ordered a laptop. Arrived on time. Everything is working fine.

Our laptop was less than 1 year old and all was good. But then it went into a reboot loop. I contacted Gadge Centre and I had to send photo's of the screen and rest of the laptop. A technician then advised to reset the reboot to a different setting. It then worked ok it seemed. Shortly after, the laptop was left on in a room with nobody being present. When re-entering the room it was filled with smoke, and the laptop was very hot and smelly. This could have been a potential fire in our house! The plastic back had melted. We quickly unplugged it. Gadget centre was contacted and again we had to send a picture. A technician stated that it wasn't the battery but likely an issue with the motherboard. We could send it back to them with a shipping label as we had paid for 3 year warranty. After they received it I got an email stating that the technician noticed upon inspection that the "warranty labels" had been removed and they could no longer repair it under warranty. We could pay however £45 to get it checked and get a "quote for a repair". After repairing it they would honour any warranty remaining on the purchase!? Crazy. There were never any warranty labels on this laptop from the start and the technician could have seen this before we sent it back as well. This claim of not being able to honour the warranty because of missing warranty labels is not true and illegal in the UK and someone else had a the exact same complaint and issue on trust pilot with Gadge Centre. I have since sent several emails demanding they fix it under warranty but they have not got back to me. I will file a court claim.

Excellent quality, so much better than anything you can get new for similar money
