Phoned Snooper with issues I had updating my Truckmate and a guy named Alex was very helpful and went through a few things with me and then explained to me how to resolve the problem and told me to delete the original map updater then reinstall it and start again which resolved the issue I was having,couldn't of been more than helpful thanks.

Tried to update my bus & coach satnav - although maps downloaded to computer, unfortunately, they would not transfer to device. After 2 days of trying, I decided to contact Snooper by 'live chat'
Manoj responded with attempts to rectify issues - Manoj & team performed a 'refresh' at their end which allowed me to complete the update - hopefully my satnav is up to date - All appears to be functioning correctly - Thank you Manoj

Manoj could not of been more helpful in addressing my problems and sending the link to retrieve. Considering my sat nav is now 7 years old .

I bought a snooper truckman 6900 aver 1 year ago allegedly with free updates for life
Finally after checking every 3 months there is a map update try to update maps and get told there is a £99.99 fee to do this unless I have the receipt or order number (like anyone keeps a receipt for over 1 year especially with a house move in the middle)
Snooper never asked for this when I registered my device on 12/2/22
Suddenly on 27/2/23 this is necessary
Obviously this company ate untrustworthy and should be avoided stick with garmin or Tom Tom at least you know where you stand
Now I need to save another £400 to scrap snooper

Alex was fantastic over the phone, i wanted to purchase a couple of speed / camera trackers, he offered me a competitive deal in buying both by negotiating on my behalf to management.

I have been dealing with Snooper since 2011 when I purchased a S7000 Sat Nav, including digital TV, from the Peterborough motorhome show. Over the years there have been occasions when I have had to seek help from both their Customer Services and Technical Departments and in 11 years they have never disappointed me. This last problem, arising from issues with our S5100, purchased in 2021 as a replacement for the S7000, has been dealt with in their customary efficient, polite and above and beyond way. Excellent service, thank you.

We needed an upgraded head unit for our VW T6 van conversion and Daniel recommended the Snooper SMH-580VW. It's a perfect fit for our dash (no extra trims needed) and works well with wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play which was our main requirement. Essentially its a plug and play replacement but as I did a DIY install it took a while to work out the connections but Snooper's telephone technical support was brilliant. Very happy with the head unit, great price too!

Do not be misled by their false claim of lifetime update. They don't like me you ended up paying top money for a product that will become useless after a few years. This company should be taken to court for misleading people.

I have bought Snooper products since the late 1970's, when the radar detector first came out, followed by a Super Snooper - which I still have, in my garage.
I have bought a number of Sat Navs, the best being the one for HGV, and the separate laser detector.
Today, I use a Snooper speed detector, that tells me where the cameras are etc.
I have been very happy, until the software package for the Nero was stopped - hence my current device.

I bought my Snooper S5100 as a replacement for my Snooper 4Elite which is now obsolete, but there is one big problem in that my old one just sat on top of the dashboard. But the S1500 sticks to the windscreen similar to the Sat/Nav's so i end up having to take it out the car when i go anywhere because of people who go thieving who will quickly break your window and take your belongings. Also the volume could of been a bit louder but if all that doesn't matter to you the Snooper S1500 works fine.

I have the Snooper My-Speed DVR G3. Speed Limits, Speed cameras, and GPS and HD Dash Cam combination. An old device now having had a few years but a great addition to driving especially in areas you are not used to with the way speed limits keep changing and cameras popping up everywhere. With the addition of the dash cam as well you can't go wrong. The only issue I would say is that the database needs updating more or a facility website where you can report speed limit changes, around the area I live now with 20mph zones a lot are not showing up on here still and it has been a good few months now since they have been introduced. Would love a way of adding yellow box junction cameras on here as well.

I use my snooper sat nav when towingng my caravan, its brilliant at keeping me away from low bridges and narrow roads and on the motorway it gives me very early lane changes which takes lot of stress out of my driving. Brilliant peace of kit.

I have a snooper hard wired under the bonnet. It’s an iOS type, no longer available I believe but it’s been reliable in three cars in succession. Pity iRadar can’t be connected to Apple CarPlay. Recommend it through.

I am now on my 5th Snooper Sat nav with the latest being a dashcam also. The model being the Bus & Coach. I've always had 1st class service with a quick response to any issues. However this latest one, from day one, has had a number of issues one of which although has been addressed I'm not fully satisfied but I am sure they will resolve it. Faults can always occur but it is the speed of resolving the issue is how I judge and they have always been quick to resolve any issues so a very good company to deal with.
