Exerlent service my Lee and his team as alway

After a decade or more of servicing and repair work the level of customer service and reliability has never faultered.Would go nowhere else.

Always great service. Care returned when promised.

I feel fobbed off by Martin and team. For one, they just cleared off all the faults on my car and returned it suggesting I ‘keep an eye’. Totally ignored all physical evidence of oil leakage that should also have been apparent from the low oil warnings that they cleared. No wonder my car had serious engine damage. When contacted, both Lee and Martin were really rude, confrontational and didn’t even give a chance to talk over phone. Will be complaining to the regulatory bodies.

[Edit post garage's reply] As is evident, owner has no logical response for lack of quality in service nor willingness to accept feedback and take ownership. Rather than accept mistake they are making baseless personal accusations. They have not responded to formal emails as well as a letter by post. They have caused me damage in thousands and will be taking them to court if need be.

Had my two year old truck serviced. All aspects of the service were excellent. Booking, arrival, courtesy car and collection were friendly and professional. If you want an alternative to a main dealer then this is a great choice.

Absolutely excellent business. Used for all our cars for twenty years. Honest, helpful, personal service, sensible charging.

I've been using this garage for well over 20 years, mainly for our Volvo but also other vehicles. I always get honest, trustworthy advice and never sold anything I don't need. Good service fairly priced and the staff are friendly, very helpful and approachable.

When I first approached Martin Matthewson more than 10 years ago, my newly acquired Volvo had developed a fault. After a very long time and many unnecessary repairs by the Volvo dealer I finally got a quite for replacing the DIM at more than £800. No repair of the DIM possible. I then went to Martin Matthewson and got the answer: Yes, we can fix that with a lifelong warranty and the total cost £385.

That convinced me and I have been a customer since. The Volvo still goes strong after 265000 miles and Martin also looks after our Mercedes SLK. I strongly recommend Martin Matthewson.

I have been using this company for the last 6 years for car servicing, repairs and MOT, I never had any problems and they are reasonably priced.

Completed a fair few jobs this week for me. Annual MOT service, power steering pipe replacement and ABS issue. Kept informed with what was being done and the costs.
