Got this as a Mother’s Day present from the fam. Guess they wanted to add quick and easy magic to our space. It did the trick! Wow - I’m impressed. Gives such a lovely vibe.

This lil’ thing brought stars into my living room and now there is no evening I wouldn’t turn it on. Got a blue star version. Love it!

Amazing products, we got a projector and two lamps, this has completely transformed our house, especially in the evenings when it gets dark. Ordered another one as a gift. Recommended!

Got the projector to use it in my photo/video studio. The brightest colors I’ve ever seen, the option to manage my own color settings and combinations is a very nice functionality.

Works like a charm, easy setup (I'm an IT person tho) and unlike previous one I had from amzn, my fam can clearly see who cuts costs for profit and who didn't. Omw planning second lamp for bedroom! (I'll wait for discount like mothers day had tho, lol)

Their projector is absolutely stunning and now is a constant in our living room. Family fighted over who will get to have the projector for the night in their bedroom, so we had to order one for each bedroom😅 very ambient.

The galaxy projector is pretty neat, but Galaxy Lamps seriously need to fix their shipping experience since DHL literally refuse to do their job. The package WILL NOT be delivered to your home, forcing you to pick it up from several kilometers away.

The galaxy projector lamps are ridiculously cool. 5*! Wish I had known about these during lockdown. A very trippy but calm light therapy effect. I think it's especially good if you live somewhere with not that many sunny days in a year and most days are grey.

I've messaged them directly multiple times.... The first message was to see when the colour I wanted was going to be back in stock! I then messaged them as Afterpay isn't coming up for payment, even though they have it advertised as you can pay with afterpay.

They never respond, so why would I buy a product If you're customer service is already seriously lacking?!

Had a terrible experience with this company which resulted in months of emails back and forth, finally a replacement which was also faulty, and then after 4 months finally a refund. It just was not necessary to put a customer through so much stress when I ordered in good faith.

After I received my refund I was emailed by Trust Pilot to say that the company were disputing that my experience was genuine and that if I didn’t provide them with proof of my experience my review would be taken down. I gave them what they wanted, proved my correspondence and order with the company but this was ignored and my review was taken down anyway.

So I am writing another to say avoid this company at all costs!!! They send out shoddy goods and then when they don’t work they fob you off for months in the hope that you’ll go away and give in. Don’t give in and you will get your refund eventually.

Ordered a lamp for Christmas 2022 which never arrived. Reluctant to give a refund on request and i am still awaiting an update from the ‘local courier’ in an email sent on 27 Jan

This company is shady. They use influencers who leave glowing reviews on youtube in return for up to 15% commission on any complete orders (source: The Galaxy Lamps website - affiliates). More honest reviews are on Trustpilot as you can see.

They pretend their junk product is sent from the USA, implying a higher quality item. But the items are rubbish dropshipped from Dongguan, China. When I ordered they set the courier in the Shopify app (that they encourage you to download) as DHL, but sent it via another courier - so that I wouldn't see the tracking came from China, not the US. BTW Shopify are useless, there are many shady companies like this promoted on their app.

It was only when I raised a PayPal dispute that they sent the proper tracking to prove it was dispatched - and it showed it came from Dongguan.

Their website carries great review scores - that don't link to anything, nor do they change. Suspicious.

They show they've been featured in respected publications such as the Guardian, Mashable etc - except if you search on these outlets you will not find a single article on these lamps.

They have a fake sale, where their lamps are half price. Except that if you look at their site using the Internet Wayback machine, you'll see that in October 2022 the Galaxy Projector was £59.99, but then shot up in December to £139.99 - however it has been "discounted" to £69.99 since, in a never-ending sale.
And on the Galaxy Lamps site under refunds it says "Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded" so basically no refunds then.

When opening the site it asks if you are on the right site, with UK and US flags, again to draw attention away from the dropshippers of Dongguan.

They don't have a geographical address listed and that is a huge red flag also. All contact is by email (if they respond).

So if you are thinking of buying a galaxy lamp or projector, avoid this place like the plague. If you've been ripped off by them, use this information to get a refund from your payment provider. And help stop other people being conned by commenting on influencer's videos.

The product (Galaxy Projector 2.0 blue) was defective upon delivery. Just as others already mentioned, there was a clacking sound when the light was on. The laser which rotates the "starfield" is also very dodgy. Doesn't run smooth at all. Also their website claims the product is made/shipped from the US. But the tracking information of my package clearly stated it was being shipped from Dongguan in China.

It hasn't caught fire (yet) as others claim theirs did, but i'm not going to risk burning my house down with this junk. its going back in the box and if i cant get a refund, i guess i will donate it to a person i really hate.

Dont fall for this scam company and their scam products!

After threathening with legal action, my product was fully refunded, but communication via email with them was quite bothersome and it seemed they used google translate to translate english to chinese and chinese back to english. Their mails did not make sense and it seemed they did not understand what i was trying to convey.

Now, (18th of Februari) several months later, i got an email saying the following: "You’ve written a review for Galaxylamps, and they’ve asked for more details to better understand your experience.

If you don’t respond, your review may be taken offline."

Gee thanks for that Trustpilot, Someone writes a genuine review based on their genuine crappy experiences with a company and as a reviewer, you get threathened your review will be taken offline if you dont respond... Really sounds like you have the reviewers back there... NOT!

They were asking for my Order number, which i provided. My name, which they should be able to tell from the order number and my phone number... Hell no! im not giving you my number! So i did actually enter something bogus there. I wonder if they are stupid enough to actually call 0123456789.

Anyways, even though they refunded me, that does not entitle them to flag my review as untrue or anything and it is still my honest to God opinion to avoid this scam company at all costs.

They sell you some cheap piece of plastic made in China, for a premium US price. Dont fall for this scam. The videos on their site demonstrating the product are a complete fabrication and do not at all reflect the product you receive. The reviews on their site are also unverifiable because its not an actual link. Its an image you cant click on (doesnt link to anything). So you can literally photoshop anything in there. Everything they do is literally 1 thing. Scam you out of your money.

Im fairly certain, if i hadnt threathened them with legal action, i would not have received a refund. So if you read this, threathen them with legal action, tell them you will expose them to the world and sue them to the fullest extent of the law. Might help to get your money back.

And to others who have not bought anything from them yet. Please... do yourself a favor: DONT!

Update 18th of May 2023. Galaxylamps is trying to takedown my legit review again. EXACTLY 3 months after their last attempt. I have to yet again prove that my review is legit so they cant take it down.

I have now yet again reported galaxylamps.co to trustpilot for abusing the fake review report feature. I wonder if i have to keep doing this every three months... when will trustpilot step up and take these scammers down?

Like most other reviews on here, rubbish company, wouldn't ever do business with them again.

They messed up my delivery, didn't ship it, so I asked for a refund and to cancel my order, they ignored the request and then shipped it. They have now said I cannot get a refund. Complete scam DO NOT TRUST!

I bought the galaxy lamp projector 2 and it was great at first, apart from the 3 month wait I had to receive it with no communication, it was only recently that it has developed a dangerous fault, the projector started faulting and smoking while it was on in my sons bedroom, luckily I seen it and turned it off quickly, bad smell of burning from inside of the projector, I contacted galaxy lamps on multiple occasions thinking they would take this seriously, all I got back off them was a voucher to get 50% off another one, I thought they at least might want the product back so they could investigate what the potential lethal problem might be, BE WARNED THIS PRODUCT IS DANGEROUS AND NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, the company is a joke that sell cheap dangerous Chinese rubbish

Ordered a lamp June 1st , it’s now July 31st and they haven’t even shipped it yet. They eagerly took my money right away but won’t send the product I bought for two full months after I placed the order. I am attempting to get a refund of my $90.00 dollars now , hopefully they can at least give me my money back. They can’t seem to do anything else right.

I hate negative reviews as I am a small business owner.
The projector is cool when it works, I do really love it however IMO, many of the photos and videos in the ads are really showing multiple systems running to give the coverage that is shown which is the reason I purchased a second one.

However, I am disappointed to have one broken at the 60-90 day point and the warranty is only 30 days and now I am worried about the second one.
Support has answered my detailed emails with suggestions but the projectors have lost their paring and are just on all the time with no control whatsoever unless you unplug it to turn off. I have been offered 50% off on a new one but then you have to add back $12 in shipping that gets kind of expensive especially if they are going to kick the bucket every 60 days. Cool but really needs a better warranty.
